In what way does your game fit the theme?
REWIND: You need the retrace your steps to remember the spell to get out of your house (retrace -> go back in your memories); it is also a rewind back in time because of the oldschool game genre of a TextAdventure :)

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything is handcrafted with love, all by myself. Including code, visuals, sound and story <3 I love Brackeys.

I thought about doing something similar to this where you had to re-trace your steps to solve a puzzle so it is nice to see someone implement the idea. As soon as I got the first letter I started to guess and I was like "could it be this easy!?" it was not :P

Hahah, thanks for playing! I originally wanted to have a more brackeys related spell, but I could not think of a  short 3-4 letter Brackeys word :D I'll check out your game later today!

I never played TextAdventure before so it was an interesting experience for me. Good job!

Things I liked, the sounds for this game is very charming! Nice to listen to while trying to figure out how to get out lol. I loved that you had a visual of the actual room to the right, helps give more character to the environment that's being lived in and not just the one spoken about in text. The controls were also super simple. Nothing overally complicated, just three things to do and that's all you really need for a game like this.

Things I didn't like, I felt you could have had a compiled list on on the side of all the interactable things just so that the player doesn't have to constantly scroll up all the time. In addition whenever the player types in anything new it should fast track them to the bottom of the page to save them time when they do need to scroll.

Other than that I thought it was a really cute charming game! Hope you keep making more games in the future!

Thanks for taking the time and for providing feedback. You wouldn't believe the struggle i was having to get some basic automatic scrolling going. It does scroll a bit after each data entry but not in a sophisticated way - so you are spot on! I will check your game later today!

Also, I like that it is a short game, that you can complete without getting bored, excelent for a jam.

Actually relaxing! I never got to enjoy text adventures too often, so I had a lot of fun experimenting with it. It felt very comfortable but still engaging the whole way through.
