In what way does your game fit the theme?
OldSchool Tape&Pencil fits the theme "rewind" by using as it's main mechanic the ability to rewind a tape in order to position yourself and avoid obstacles
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, excepting two 3d models from the unity assets store

Cool game and actually pretty challenging. Nice work!
Interesting concept of a game! It took me a little bit to understand how the game works, but I got into the groove of it after a while!
Quite hard but nice game, really interesting, good job!
Really interesting and original mechanic! I'd love to have some music going along with it! But really cool interpretation of the theme!
Definitely, some polish has to be done!
Thank you!
It took me a while to get more than a score of 50, but I was able to get to 100. Quite challenging with the jump intervals being different from the movement of the obstacles. Nice to see someone else knows what pencils are for ;-)
:))Oldschool approach is always the best!
Thank you!
Overall nice Game, could use some polishing, but nice take on the theme with rewinding the cassette (Totally not our idea too ;) )
Thank you!
I'll check out your "not even same ideea" right away:))
Nice little game. You and i have kind of the same mechanics ! (Rated)
Thank you!
I'll have a look at your game right away!
Cool game, but its HARD!!
Thank you!
The harder the game, the more addictive it becomes :))
Great game! Good luck!
Thank you!
I really like the concept, very original. And I also really like the way the game looks. But damn this game is hard to play. The controls feel really quite finicky. Maybe some keyboard and mouse controls would be better. The moment the player jumps could also be more clearly indicated. Maybe with a timeline where a green line moves from right to left, indicating the moment of the jump?
I'd really appreciate it if you would have a look at my game as well, and be sure to download the smaller version :D
Thank you!
My record was 350:))
I'll keep in mind to add a more visible timer !
This is a very interesting concept. I wish it were a bit more obvious that you were moving the obstacles and had to time the jumps. Obviously, sound effects and music would help as well, but there is a large time constraint, and you should be proud of what you achieved in the time given.
Thank you!
I agree, some polish has to be done
This game has some new elements to it. Can you add music to it?
Saddly, I wasn't able to add music in time for it but for sure is an item on my to do list!
Thank you!
You are welcome. <3
loved the concept. but the controls where a bit weird. also some sound effects and particle will make the game like 10 better with minimum effort.
I agree the controlls are a bit wierd, but tbh that's the thing I most enjoy about this game.
Particles and sound effects are items on my to do list:)
Thank you!
Hi there!
I love the simplistic idea and the simple forms and shapes; the tape in combination with the rewind theme is great! The only thing I really missed was a bit of music; fun interpretation, thanks for the submission :)
Hi!
Thank you!
I'm happy my game turned into something enjoyable in the end!
About the music I agree !
It needs some music but
I couldn't make something that fits in Bosca Coil ( second time I've used it ) by the time ran short!
Interesting concept. I like it. The game is a little bit too hard, maybe some difficulty progression can help. But overall great game.
Hi!
It means a lot for me to know that someone enjoyed it!
About the difficulty, I have to admit, I didn't playtest a lot before submiting it :)
Thank you !
