I made all of the code myself (except for MIT licensed libraries, of course).
I used pre-purchased art assets
and someone else (also submitting their own game) made the music.

Really cool game. I wanted to point out that you can "cheat" by going back and forth between cards and get 99 gold or fully heal if the card on the right does not cost you anything to go to, but I suppose it's actually intended. That's an interesting mechanic Good job on the game, I think it fits the theme well.
yup! absollutely intended to finish hard mode. also, you can get infinite MP AND HP by picking the dreamcatcher and the nautilus shell.

Like PbnjGuy said, the connection to the theme doesn't pop out right away and isn't that fitting. But i had fun playing it and i like the puzzle like design.
I was initially suprised by that, but now I see that you need to get to level 7-8 for rewinding to really hit close to home and see that it is necessary to win easy mode.
Oh well, my rebalancing had the opposite effect of what I intended it to do.

your game is pretty cool though the rewind mechanic is for convenience and already incorporated into a lot of card games so i didn't really understand its relevance to the theme. if you have time play my game if you get the chance
? I think you didn't get to play the later levels, but rewinding is not undoing.
sometimes you have to purposely lose a lot of health and position yourself so that rewinding heals you more than what you lose in a chain.
In fact, on hard mode, it is impossible to progress without carefully settings things up to go back and replenish your mana...

No problem. I should have used rewind more effectively in the lower levels.
I've clarified that rewinding is more useful the farther you get into the game.

A nice game that really made me think about what moves I should make. The music and art is great too. Although, I'm not sure if I got to the rewind part of the game but maybe I just lost too early lol
