In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player can rewind his actions to recover battery (stamina).
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, my partner and I have done all by ourselves except by the background music which is credited.

The Good:
- Audio - I really liked the music choice and the home-made sound effects. I instantly recognised the song when it came on :)
- Level design and theme adherence - The levels are designed well to push the player to use their rewind ability to change position and refill their power meter
- Polish - I was never confused on what to do and I didn't encounter any game-breaking bugs. The game felt really polished
Could Improve:
- Volume of rewind - way too loud compared to the other sounds. It also repeats in a weird pattern, where it goes quiet, then replays the entire sound file again
- Glitchy physics when rewinding - not a very big deal, but the boxes were kinda glitchy when I rewinded and went through them
- Length - the game was too short for my liking. I won't rate it lower because of this, but consider adding more levels or mechanics
Overall:
A really solid submissions. Good job on creating it all from scratch in a single week!
Nice game! Tho somehow I immediately completed level 2 after level 1? I'm not sure what happened, but it's still a neat use of the rewind mechanic!
It's flaw, at least for me, is it's simplicity. It didnt click on me.
The rewind mechanic is actually really well implemented and leaves place for quite a lot of different level ideas that can lead to a really fun game to play.
It has SO much potential, so keep updating it, it can be a great game.
Overall a nice little game. Good job!
I really like how you used the theme! I think rewinding your movement is really interesting as opposed to just rewinding everything. I liked your puzzles, the first one took me a couple tries to work everything out, but after that they weren't too challenging, but I still enjoyed them. The art is nice and simple and I love the homemade sound effects + I enjoy that 8 bit buttercup cover lol. Good job, wish I had more levels to play!
Hi, I like the implementation of the theme. As a suggestion you should put some messages when you finish the level.( the trantransition between the levels is fast) and also the main menu is quite poor.. a nice background image can make the difference.
Good Job.
My game is a casual game if you wanna rate is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match , Thanks
Levels were a bit easy, but I like the overall idea. I think not changing the environment when you rewind is a good thing. Maybe for later levels you could have a mixture of things that do rewind and things that don't rewind to make it more complicated
Good start, but I think you should rethink the main rewinding mechanic. I like that you limit the player to a certain number of rewinds per level, but how does that help me, as a player to rewind? What reason do I have to rewind other than you forcing me to when my power runs out? Since the environment doesn't chance when I rewind, it just feels like you're arbitrarily forcing me to restart the level. You should make the player want to rewind. This is a good start that needs just a bit of improvement.
Actually a good example on how to integrate rewinding time into a puzzle style game. I really love it, I hope you can increase visuality, which would make the game actually a real good indie game. Congrats!
