In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game is reversed, you will start at level 5 to level one much more likely a rewind. Also, you have a skill that rewinds your old positions.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes I did and also the music and sound effects.

I had a lot of fun playing your game. I like the idea to rewind the game itself and at the same to rewind yourself. It´s also cool to get penalized for rewinding by rotating. The sound effects are nice and your art fits very well. Overall a great game which deserves more ratings. Good Job!

I´ve submitted a local multiplayer game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722755. I would be happy to get your feedback on it. :D

I liked the visuals, atmosphere, music, sounds.
But for some reasons it took at least 1 minute to load from grey screen to start a game (didnt played it on potate machine though) and also so long level number showing.  I liked idea of showing numbers like that overall, but why it takes 10 seconds to show what level i am on? That was my only two concerns :)

I will start by saying that screenshots are what brought me to this game while browsing the submissions. The minimalistic graphics are awesome, very good use of that. Music and sound effects are also very fitting the overall game.
Gameplay wise however I feel that the game is lacking, it's really easy to just get used to starting control scheme and move between 2 places in the middle of the arena. I guess that game being easy is a good thing in a jam environment, I wouldn't probbably play it if it would be hard but that takes me to the next point. I personally hate "inverted controls" so it was good for me that I could use the main mechanic as little as possible.
I think that level starting and the clock turning animations although cool are a little slow and tedious because of that.
I think that you have a great sense of aesthetic and the game plays smooth and nice, but the overall game idea is what i'm not a fan of.
But still, as a jam entry, a very visually pleasing at that, a solid yet simple game. I know I might sound really harsh or something like that with my comments but what I want to say is that I don't really look forward to play this game more, but absolutely I look forward to play your next games, as I see a lot of potential for you as a designer. Not every game has to fit with every person, like it's the case with this game and me, but I appreciate the more holistic aspects a lot and try to see past the one game.
Keep up working on games, and still good luck in jam with this one :)

Hi nightcorenopescope! I liked the baked lighting and ambient design of your game. Adding some constructive criticism, that helps us all get better at our game dev - The difficulty was relatively low, as you could stay near the center and dodge the falling enemies relatively easily. It might help to increase the frequency. To balance out increase frequency, it would help then to create a forewarning of the side dangers, so the player would know what's coming at the boundary.

Making the controls flip to a new orientation was great, and makes the player stay sharp to adjust to the new controls. Nice innovation.

Thank you :D

Ok, I'm going to be a bit harsh here, but i hope it helps you improve. Here's my honest opinion.

I like the minimalist style you went for, and the beginning is very intriguing, and i got my hopes up when i got told the main mechanic. The problem is that i never used it. You don't really need it during your game, and i think a clever way to use it would have been to do something like you did in the final level, but more often, maybe rhythmically. And the gameplay, in general, it's pretty bland, you only need to press to buttons for the most part.

Finally, it happened to me that standing too close to the edge of the arena killed me, i don't know if it is intentional.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way: the premise was good, but i didn't really enjoy the execution, but you can always improve from negative feedback

I appreciate your review about my game. It is very helpful and helps me understand better what are my flaws. Thank you so much for pointing it out I really appreciate it. ;)

I think the gameplay got a little stale after a while, because I found myself moving between two spots out of reach of the outside projectiles, and I didn't really see the point of the rewind skill.

But the premise is really fun. The way the game switches your controls is really disorienting, and maybe with some tweaks, you could make a really cool bullet hell game.

Also, the visuals are simplistic, but it works really well. Kinda reminds me of superhot.

Overall, it's pretty good.
