It is a very good game. I'm amazed that it has this level of detail in such a short period of time. Well done, you have made a great submission to this jam! Hope you had fun participating

Such a good looking game! The idea is pretty neat and the art style is very cute. I really enjoyed playing and I would love to see more levels. Dont really know if you are planning to contine development on this game but I think a lot of people would enjoy it.

Congratulations on your submission, it is a really good game. If you dont mind, I would love to hear your opinnion on my game.

Good game idea, it was interesting but like you said it had some glitches. I didn't like the fact that when you died you had to start all over again, but I asume you didn't have time to make checkpoints.

Nevertheless, you did a very good job and with some fixes and tweaks it will make it an more interesting game

This game looks like it was fun to make. Congrats on making it and being able to submit it. However, it needs major improvments, like knowing where are you shooting, the rewind and pause mechanic didn't seem to work (at least on my case) and other things. However, it has a very cool intro and the game in general is entertaining so good job!

Such a good polished game! Congratulations on making on such a short period of time a very well crafted entry! The bullet mechanic was cool and the different enemies made an interesting experience. The checkpoints are a great addition and makes the player feel progress during the playthrough.

I can't think of any bad things other than maybe the way the bullet moves can be hard to catch at first. Overall, a very solid game, you should feel very proud, hope you had fun participating!

Very cool polished game, congratulations! It would be greatly improved with the addition of sounds and more things to do in game like collecting special rewards or a wave system that would get harder for each wave cleared.

Nevertheless, the game looks cool and has lots of details that make the experience very enjoyable. Good job!

Very interesting idea, it is an original take of revisiting back levels to make progress. Maybe with more elements the game could have a solid base to be a good game instead of only collecting keys.

Nevertheless, for a first game it's a very good one, so congrats on your participation

Very cool game,  I didn't realise that the ghosts were created with your last play of the game. Such a cool concept that makes you appreciate more the game as a whole. Sound would have been great, but I understand that a lot of time was put into the code and assets.

Really great game, hope you had fun during the Jam!

Very original idea, i liked it a lot (eventhough I didn't catch it at first). It's a shame that is this short but the game runs smoothly. I can understand players getting frustrated because missing makes them start all over again but thats the plot of the game, to tell how in under 20 seconds the guy killed all the monsters.

Very nice polished game for a jam! Congrats. The movement felt excelent, the music mixed with the artstyle made a very good experience. The story was a great addition too.

Amazing game, hope you enjoyed the jam!

I liked the game idea, simple but entertaining. I would enjoy that the game wouldn't restart if you touched by a little one of the grey squares, because it's very frustrating. Audio and music would be a great addition and also a indicator that tells you the current level you are on,

The movement was very slow, in a platformer you want to move fast to get to different platforms quickly. The idea was good, but I think that the dialogue should have been more interesting so the players can engage more with the game.

Hope you had a wonderful time participating in the game jam!

Nice idea, but it needs more work put into it. I know that time is a very limiting factor, so it's understandable that the game is short. With more actions, characters and levels, this idea could turn out to be a good game. Overall, nice job, hope you had fun during the jam!

Nice game! The jumping was a little weird , didn't feel right that you couldn't strafe but the leaderboard was a nice addon. The rewind mechanic was good but some of the obstacles can be dodged without it

I enjoyed the effect of the world around you getting more color as you collect further blimps, but I almost quit because I wasn't able to find the last object. You can also get out of the map with a jump pad and clip through buildings.  Overall, nice idea for a game but I think it would need more work so enemys were more menacing and the objects easier to find.

I don't really understood the scratching effect in-game, making me confused. However, it is a very groovy game with an interesting mechanic.

At first, I had trouble learning how the playback mechanic worked, but through trial and error, I managed to understand it. It was a great experience overall, but sadly it froze because I pressed P while being on playback mode. Nevertheless, it is a great game and a good submission for a game jam.

Nice job, hope you enjoyed the jam!

I liked this game because it combines music with the gameplay (especially when you use a tape and rewind it). Such a cool take on the theme and the name of the game fits like a glove. It's a shame that it has few levels but for a game jam is more than enough.

Congrats on your game submission, it's awesome.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback. We only had time to do introduction levels (so the player gets used to the different mechanics) so it has the potential to have very interesting level desings. Very happy that you liked the game!

Thank you for your feedback. I also thought it had a similar feel as Portal. Glad to hear you enjoyed the game!

I liked the game, it was a fun concept, but the rewind mechanic feels like is just there because it needs to be, rather than been a core feature. Besides that, good graphics and nice sound.

Overall, a pretty solid game for a jam, good job.

This game can build up to be a very cool concept, so at least you tried with your limited time.  I didn't manage to get to the end because my path was blocked so I can't tell how much more game there is.

If you had fun making it and you were able to submit it I would count it as a victory. There are more game jams available, try to participate in one when you have the extra time.

I really enjoyed playing this game. It's fun and you can get hooked trying to get a better score. The graphics are great and the audio fits very well. Looks polished and I think it would succed as a mobile game.

Congrats on your submission and hope you had fun making the game as I did playing it

It looks very polished for a game jam submission, congrats on making a very cute and awesome game. I dont really dig the camera controls, but appart from that, everything else is amazing. The puzzles are very well thought and it makes you think harder the more you advanced. The graphics are simple but get the job done pretty well and the music is very relaxing. I think it fits very well with the ambient of the game.

The use of the rewind mechanic is fenomenal and I overall really enjoyed the game.

Overall the game is fine, you have a set of 4 minigames and you have to complete them until you ran out of lives. I found the tile clicker hard to understand at first but I eventually got the hang of it. The only problem I can find is that when you cicle with the same 4 minigames over and over it can get stale. I would add more challenges to the minigames the longer you progress but for a gamejam it's good, and also nice use of the theme.

Hope you had fun participating and I recommend trying other's people games.

(1 edit)

I really enjoyed the artstyle and the story of the game. It was very wholesome. Platform was nice and I didn't really understand what crouching did. I think the theme is mostly present during the game with the wind and the restoration of your lives.

Overall, a very cute game, congrats on your participation.

I love the concept of the game. I really enjoy golf games so I loved this game as a whole. The armadillo is very cute and the graphics look fantastic. I read the problem of  the game and the size of the screen so I guess you are already solving that. I found the camera controlls (mouse) very hard to really get the right angle so I would try to make it smoother or something like that.

The 3 levels were short but you can see the potencial that this game has to offer. I had a blast throwing the ball around in the third level. However, it's hard to notice the rewind mechanic because you would normally get in time to the ball before it runs out of movement.

I found a bug that if you pick up the ball when is starting to rewind it gets stuck and it doesnt move anymore (but you can cheese the levels picking up the ball and rotating to change the position).

Overall, a very nice game. I really enjoyed it and I hope you had a great time making it.

I couldn't play on the website so I downloaded the windows file to play. Overall its a good game but I can't find the theme (ignoring the enemyrewind buttons).  Sound would have been a nice touch to the game like this.

You should try for future jams that your game includes as a mechanic the theme of the jam. Also, if the game is infinite until you die, if you add a point system that would keep players engaged because they would want to get a better score.

Overall, I really enjoyed the art and the game. Taking into consideration that it's your first game ever made, its very well done (no bugs, it's playable...).  I would be very proud if I were you. However, I dont think it fits the theme because there isn't any game mechanic that follows the theme.

I think its a good idea  and  the theme is very  well implemented but like other users have alredy told you, it has a very big difficulty gap, which doesn't mean that it's a bad thing, but making hard levels could make potencial players quit. However, the audio was excellent and overall a good game to play. I would recommend explaining in game or in the first level how the ability works because I was lost for a few seconds.

If you wanna check out my game submission, you will see how my levels are easy, to make sure the players enjoy the game overall.
