yes, but some audio and some sprites were not from scratch most of the things were from scratch

The cactus are EVIL!
The jump didn't work most of the time making me crash into the cactus :/

Nice small game. I had some fun playing it. Sometimes it was a bit frustrating since I wasn´t able to jump over any cactus without losing health. Sometimes I wasn´t able to jump at all.
Overall a nice concept.

You got the theme pretty well. I had fun playing it, but the cactus gave me hard time. Maybe you could make the jump higher in the future. I liked the flipping animation of the enemies.

The cactus gave me a lot of trouble, so I'm glad I can use my bullets to jump higher. Not sure if it was intentional or not, but it was a fun feature. Also, the unlockable abilities motivated me to keep playing. I'm a sucker for those.

I didn't get about the bullets you are taking about.....?
If I shoot and then jump into the bullets, I get pushed higher into the air. It was very useful for getting over obstacles.
I am going to put a cooldown on it so people can't just do that and complete the game easily

You should reduce the height of the cactus and also some indication when the player is hit. Also you should include some post processing to the game. Some audio would have also been very great. Apart from that, great job.

everytime you jump over a cactus, you get hit, you can't avoid them.
secondly, the art style isn't consistent and controls need more polish, you run too fast. needs more work, but congrats for submitting!

The game is great. But the player and the shooting doesn't match with how the game looks. Also, jumping is a bit difficult and if I press A or D while in air, I can literally fly. Other than that, a great game. Also, I'm a big fan of the rotating dinosaur, it was like the funniest thing in the game.

The idea of the game is fun and e.g. the shadow in the distance looked very nice.
Also the 2D dinosaurs turning on their X-axis also made me chuckle each time ;)
But you should polish especially the colliders a bit more, especially the colliders of those evil cacti ^^

The idea of using your points to rewind is actually very original and it could be improved and turn into something much bigger.
The only(and biggest) problem with this game is that is unplayable, sadly. The movement is really poorly made, jumping is too slow and walking is too fast and that makes it even weirder. Collisions are so bad and it's actually impossible to pass a cactus without taking damage. It is a solid good idea but right now it looks like just a prototype. Maybe you should work more on that idea and then make a good game about it.

Great use of theme and the shooting feels nice. Its impossible to jump over the cactus without taking damage from it. Rewind mechanics is good. I would recommend renaming the file of the game to the actual name of the game rather than a bunch of g's. Otherwise nice job.
we submitted in a hurry so could not do finishing touches and it is not impossible to jump over the cactus you just got to time it right (it is really hard)

Hey my friend, was looking forward to playing your game. Here is my honest descriptive criticism for it.
Pros:
-Love the ggs mate haha the name was phenomenal but i know you didnt go for it
- At first game had a good feel for it, I could do almost all i was instructed to but then it took a turn which i will get to in the cons.
-The sound of the shot was pretty solid nothing too much nothing too little and i didnt have audio bugs which are pretty common during game jams.
Cons:
- instructions are not designed for 4k i can assume they are on one half of the screen and look quite small to read that can be said with other elements such as the buttons on the middle of my screen
- The dinosaurs looked very janky turning halfway and sometimes even going underground
- After killing enough dinos, dying and being able to rewind time was a good idea but sadly the execution was poor. My character did not regain half health(might be due to the UI bug) but other than that I could walk while rewinding which made it bug out and rewind me while i was moving making me sometime drop in with the cacti haha
Overall pretty fun experience if i say so myself ! This is not supposed to offend you or make it seem like your game isnt good. I hope you read this with an open mind my friend! Would appreciate if you could leave a detailed feedback about my game as well.

realy appreciate your feedback and in play testing things were going fine but when I submitted people were facing a lot of problems I guess as we had very little time left I forgot to add some small but key features that might have resulted in the bug

The game manager in second level is not assigned properly so in second level if u rewind ur Health will added but the bar will not be updated
The reason for dinosaurs going under ground is that box collider is misaligned with the sprite

I see ! Thanks for letting me know and I wish you guys great success with the future of the projects. Definitely spent some time developing games just for fun and not even for jams just together to teach you guys. I was solo dev but when i worked in studio thats what we did. Just made random games with small teams sometimes to get bonding and learn a lot.

I don't think I 100% understood this game... The first time I played, I didn't understand the point of the rewinds. After I realized you could do them after you died it made a little more sense, but the bugs made the game really difficult to play. :( I will mention though another thing I didn't see anyone else say is that in the second level there is not anything stopping you once you fall through the hole in the ground, so you just fall infinitely. Overall, good job on finishing something in a week, but it could use some bug-fixing.
oh I think that the ground might have been removed in play testing it was there
and the game is about a person stuck in the past and has to reach back to the present

I beat all 3 levels. I really enjoyed playing this game, I know other people have mentioned it already but the box collider on the cacti should be adjusted. If you're using unity or if other game engines have the capability I would recommend either making the box collider smaller or using a polygon collider to fit the shape of the cactus. I liked the way the enemies turned around (reminded me of paper mario). I also discovered a way to get past the cacti, If you spam the shoot button and jump forwards you can use the bullet's colliders to stay in the air longer and go higher. If that's something you'd like to remove you can do so by making separate layers for your player and bullets and go to project settings > Physics/Physics2D and unticking the boxes from the matrix at the bottom that connect the player and bullet layers. (If you're using Unity ofc, not sure how to do it in other game engines). Even with it's flaws I thought this game was fun.

Due to less time I could not fix the problem and this is my 3rd game jam and first brackeys jam. Thanks for the feedback it is very helpful as I am new to Unity I don't know about all the stuff like all coliders, etc but I know the basics and you telling me how to fix the bugs really helps me
