Yes; I used the unity engine, and I used an online software called pixilart for the art. Sadly there was no time for SFX or music

Fun:
The fun factor comes from the solid gameplay. There wasn't much juice/game feel to the game though which took away from the fun levels. No sound effects/screen shake/ect..
Innovation/Theme:
The game was a simplistic 2d side scrolling shooter. There was not much innovation of implementation of the theme or mechanics. The theme felt a little weak mainly due to the introduction of the second character was the stronger together aspect but it didn't seem to add much to the gameplay. Nothing visually changed either which could have helped sold the theme.
Graphics:
The simple pixel art was very nice and cohesive overall. Nice work!
Audio:
No sound to the game. Obviously this would help.
Game Design:
Overall the game flowed very well. Visually and game mechanics worked well. I think a little more direction on how the theme applied would have helped with the theme aspect. Also no sounds which hurts the overall game feel. I think some screen shake when hit would help and sound in general would add juice to the game.

It was a great game....I enjoyed it though I didn't play for a lot of time....
The Game would have been even more enjoyable if there was simple simple sound.

A classic space shooting game. The flow of the game is smooth and friendly. I love the boss fight too.
Overall it is a great entry, sadly it is not that related to the theme. But I do have a great time playing it.

Nice work, I love the little propellor animation on Red Ace, also the boss fights were super cool, the beam on the tank was pretty sweet, nice work and congrats on putting something together for the jam! I'd love if you check out my game too!
The game was pretty unforgiving healthwise and took time to restart. If there was a faster restart, then it would be a lot more fun to play. Still a pretty good game.
