In what way does your game fit the theme?
My game is all about uniting the world to prevent disaster. The world is stronger when they work together.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes I did.

Fun little management game that actually required to think about how to manage resources, which was quite cool, since I find a common trapping with these sorts of games is that throwing everything into one category can often allow you to effortlessly win. This shows some pretty cool attention to balance, though if you put all of your points into research in the early rounds, you win anyway, so maybe some more incentive to actually use some of those early game cards would add more strategic depth to how you manage your resources throughout. Other than that, this was pretty cool, and I enjoyed it enough to experiment with it a couple of times to see how easily I could beat it. With some more time spent on this to create a greater sense of variety, along with tweaking the balance further, I could see this becoming a fun full game.
Impressive game to make in a week! It's very original, i've not come across anything like this yet in this jam. Sometimes I couldn't see the level of a continent because the tasks would pop up in front of it, but thats just a small issue. Good job!
Tutorial too long :/ has a lot of unneeded numbers that already were (or could become) visible during gameplay.
Would be easier if adding workers to research/unity showed the amount of change.
I liked how every action could be cancelled before ending the day, lets the player see what something does without consequences. Great usability feature! (also could shorten tutorial)
Nitpick: arrows could be replaced with a "+" and "-" (though it's not that bad because see above)
Overall, amazing idea. Could be expanded by adding more challenge and variety, and it's a full game!
Also, worker research = O.P.
I like the idea, everything worked nicely, couldn't find any bugs. Though after the first playthrough I knew how to optimize everything for the second run. The instructions are a bit heavy :)
Great concept and interesting idea. It maybe scales a little too fast. In the first days I was afraid I won't make it, but then I had everything maxed (including world unity) by day 4. But a week is not long enough for some serious balancing :)
Definitely would like to see "full release" after this game jam demo :P
Cool little game. Finished it, but had to skip over the brick of text in the tutorial
This was a fun little strategy game. It's like playing Pandemic the flash game, but you're the humans instead of the global disaster. Only critique I have is that wall of text tutorial. Maybe smaller tool tips, or spread out the introduction of each feature over the first couple days?
You should really simplify your tutorial a bit more. Not to say I dislike reading, but having players read through paragraphs to understand how to play your game is a bit alarming.
Some objectives didn't quite make sense to me. Including choices I had to make like "Do you want to improve the school system here, or prevent a Tsunami from happening?"
In a more positive note, I do like the concept. I just wish it was a bit more challenging.
i loved the game idea! good job!
if u can check out my game it would be awsome!
