Nice game! The movement is a bit weird, but for a simple game, it's pretty neat!

In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game has a "Let there be chaos" mode where the game play quickly ramps up to become chaotic and overwhelming with asteroids flying everywhere onscreen.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All code and most assets were made for the jam.

I really appreciate the honesty with your self, and setting and sticking to a scope. I know after only a few projects, and I'm sure veterans can attest, that scope creep is one of the biggest obstacles to overcome. But you definitely shipped a full package in the jam timeframe, and you did a perfect job recreating a classic with a twist to fit the theme! Well done, and keep up the good work!
I liked the game, however aiming was rather difficult. Other than that, good job!
Cool visuals, and I appreciate having multiple difficulty modes, and the way the music speeds up as you play.
For constructive criticism, the controls / movement felt a little sluggish. Personally, I'd make the player accelerate to max speed about 3-5 times faster. Some more feedback when the player dies (screenshake, particles, sound effects etc.) would also improve game feel.
The sound really gives the nostalgia haha!
Loved the game!
The asteroid splitting was satisfying
Good idea with the spliting asteroids. But more responsive controls would be nice.
the song kinda anoy me a bit and the player is kinda small, but overall, good gameplay
Nice! Maybe make the player a bit larger, it was really easy to lose orientation because I couldn't keep my eyes on the player.
I like it. It was a bit hard to steer, but that made it just more chaotic. Nice.
I could see where you were headed with this. Although, I struggled a lot with the controls. Could just be me, though. Great job on creating this :)
