Fun game! I like that the projectile is the first attack for one and the third for the other, it makes the button mashing feel different on both characters.

My hand hurts xD Cool game! I think it would've been better with some background music. The AI worked nicely as well.

Sometimes, when I wake up at night, I hear it quietly crying, weeping. It asks itself, "Is it even worth going on?" And to that there's only one answer:

Fun game! The mashing once you hit an enemy is very chaotic and seeing the combo counter go up feels very nice. The animations were well made as well, the sound effects could use some variation. Nice job!
I love the idea of button mashing chaos and the game felt very feature rich for a game made in such a short time. I think to really set it apart it would be nice to have more focus on the button mashing combo chaos. I had a really good time playing

I love the animations. Even if the art is pretty barebones, you did great with selling the motion of those simple frames. The animation is responsive and the controls feel pretty good. Having a little variation in the SFX from hits would go a long way towards fleshing out the audioscape. I usually have 3-5 sound effects for a given thing, put them into an array, then call a random integer between 0 and the array length, then use that as the index of the effect to play.
A+ for having a monkey in the game. Monkey OP.

I didn't expect to see a fighter game on this jam! I thought it was fun and charming. I love the combo mechanic. Nice job!
It's a great game and the animations were damn good. You should work on this project for a finalized commercial game.
I really enjoyed playing this game. Although the system is simple it's still really fun to mash the attack button. I would suggest improving the audio a bit and more intuitive controls, but all in all, great job!
You could change the controls to more common ones link moleft and right to "a" and "d" :) Cool art!
