In what way does your game fit the theme?
It's a chaotic bullet hell with loads of explosions, lasers and dynamic camera shake
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Minus the pixel font and some heavily modified by me explosions, cube buttons and gun shot sounds (oh, and one meme,) everything else was completely made from scratch by myself and no assets made before the start of the jam were used (except one easter egg.) Oh, and all of that was made live on stream!

Hi, I really like the game mechanics here controlling two separate robots and having to keep them both moving adds an interesting twist to the puzzles. Graphics and gameplay work well and I think it fits the theme nicely too. I wasn't a massive fan of the music, a little too up-tempo for me, but I am getting old so maybe that's the problem ;) ... but overall really enjoyable to play - good job.
Thanks for playing my entry and glad you liked it! I do understand the music isn't for everyone and some people won't like it. It's up to personal preference I think :)
Glad you enjoyed it nonetheless! :D
Game ran poorly on my computer. Did you make it that way to run poorly or just because I have low pc specifications for such game?
If you want, you can play my game:

What are your PC specs? I did notice that my very old PC, having quite outdated hardware, ran poorly too. But its hardware is REALLY old. WebGL doesn't help with performance either. Tho so far I haven't seen anyone have performance issue, so PC specs is my theory. I would never design a game to run poorly on purpose.
I will for sure give your game a try too!
Loved the artstyle of the game. Will play again!
Would appreciate if you give mine a try: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/1176432
Thanks for playing! Really glad you loved it and intend to return to it!
I will give yours a shot tomorrow or Wednesdays, stayed up all night replying to everyone here and rating all games I played on stream on Sunday Dx
amazing , good job!
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked my entry :D
I love the level design! Nice job :)
Thanks for playing and glad you liked the levels! :D
Really cool game ... The feel is there just i wish the movements could be a bit improved....
Thanks for playing and glad you liked it! I do intend to modify the movement code a little bit to make everything run smoother and more consistently, but for the jam version I felt it was good enough. Really happy you liked it nonetheless!
Pretty nice but interesting approach to controlling 2, I like the music a lot too.
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked my entry and its soundtrack :D
Really hard on my brain controlling 2 at the same time lmao. Really fun concept though good work.
Thanks for playing and glad you liked it! Indeed, it's not a game concept you see every day, it was meant to melt player's brains xD
The concept of controlling two things at once really creates chaos which makes it perfectly fit the theme!
The audio was on point too! 10/10 game!
Thank you for playing my entry and I'm really glad you loved it! :D
Yours was great as well!
Loved the game and art, perhaps if the movement was a bit faster it would've been more chaotic, great job!
Thanks for playing! I tried to find a balance with player speed knowing how I coded it, but I do intend to maybe modify my code a little to optimize it more. That modification I have in mind might make everything a little faster too.
Glad you enjoyed playing it and thanks for the feedback!
its pretty good gameplay i think and the graphic is good
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked my entry and its graphics + gameplay :D
Got some getting used to playing two handed but fun once got hang of it. Music was great.
Thanks for playing! Indeed it's not everyday that you have to multitask in a game with both of your hands separate ;)
Glad you like the soundtrack too :D
I love the idea of controlling more than one thing at a time, and the sound effects were nice and crispy. Good work!
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked my entry :D
Yours was really fun to play too and one of my favorites!
An absolutely fantastic game. The art style, gameplay, and audio are perfect. 5/5 in all categories!
Thanks for playing and for the perfect rating! Had a lot of fun making this game! Yours was great too and I gave some feedback as well! :D
Great level design, great work on 2Dlight
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked my entry :D
(fun fact: there is not a single light in this game, everything is done with sprite work, shaders and post processing)
Great puzzle mechanics and level variety! Great job
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked my entry and its mechanics + levels! :D
Pretty good game. I like the dual characters.
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked my entry :D
The concept and execution are both fantastic!
Love the dual controls, 'let there be chaos' indeed :) Tried it using a controller but maybe mouse and keyboard would have been better. The difficulty is punishing, but in a good way I think. Unfortunately I got stuck at level 8 (I just can't seem to figure out what triggers the lasers, am I just too slow?), but I think I'll come back for another crack at it later!
Nice touch that you have a practise mode, even though it took me a minute to work out how the main menu works, but it is very clever. Music was decent and the graphics were crisp and clean and made reading the levels easy for the most part (figuring out which pressure plate/switch triggers what was a bit trial and error though, but maybe that's intentional).
Great game!
Thanks for playing and the feedback! For a game like mine, figuring out the best control scheme was a tough one. I would have liked to use mouse for shooting (left and right click,) but since you need to move as well both unit colors separately, both hands needed keyboard. I did map it for controllers since I thought joystick and bumpers could be more intuitive for some players.
For level 8, if you look at the top, there is a mirror corridor that gets filled with bullets. At the end of it, there is a bullet button that triggers the death lasers. I thought players would look at the top of the screen and see bullets go through, but maybe it wasn't clear enough that it was a race against the clock.
The button level being trial and error was meant to be a puzzle room, so yes, it is intentional :)
Again, thanks for the feedback and glad you liked my entry! I did give feedback on yours too
I'm amazed at how much some people can do given the amount of time allocated, I don't even come close!
I gave you a perfect rating because everything was flawless. Some levels were pretty hard ngl, but nonetheless if you had shown me this any other time and told me it was made in a week, I wouldn't have believed you.
Amazing game! Great job and keep on jamming!! ^^
Thanks for playing! Indeed, making this in 7 days was definitely challenging, but possible! Your game too was really great for being made in a single week (even if I was an absolute chicken with it xD) and it is amazing to have different people with different skill levels attempt the exact same challenge all at once! Even I was impressed by other people's entries where I'd be like "how the crap did they manage to do that in a week?" xD
Thanks for the feedback and keep on jammin' as well!
Very awesome game concept and design, It's really fun!
Thanks for playing! Glad you had fun with my entry :D
