I love this arts so much, very cool graphics. Otherwise game is fun, a little difficulty, good gameplay and game designers idea.
I will very appreciate it, if you try and rate my game

In what way does your game fit the theme?
When you are a cod with a bazooka, everything has to be chaotic with all of the destruction caused.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Everything was made from scratch except for a few sounds.

I know everyone else is complaining about the 360 aiming not existing, but I disagree with them in that aspect. It adds more to separate it from other games in the same genre while also being thematically correct because fish only swim in one direction.
I enjoyed the bazooka but wish it felt more splashey to kill groups of enemies.
Theme song was, no offense, a bit much. It was a short loop that got annoying quite fast due to it's loud, sharp instrumentals.
Great job though, I love fish related stuff.
If you have another person and a controller available to plugin please check out my game!
One thing that I've heard is not necessarily the no 360, but the fact that it flips when you go over it. I think I'm going to remove aiming form the rear and then let the player unlock being able to shoot backwards a few degrees, but no to the extreme where it gets close to 360. This is still in the early development phases so it still has a long ways to go.
good stuff:
the theme, the general idea, the level design, the overall graphics and soundeffects, the enemy movement/design, the game-mechanics (like the shattering glass and movable objekts).
bad stuff:
sometimes the aiming upwards and downwards is a bit difficult, the soundtrack is good in the beginning, but gets a bit weird, when it repeats the 8th time
but all in all, the best game i played yet
That was a unique one! Shooting felt really good and I had fun playing it. Just the audio was a little too noisy, other than that it fits the theme well.
Well done! :D
Great graphics good gameplay one of the best games I've played in the jam yet but there's one thing the UI at the start menu doesn't fit in my screen so I'm barely able to see what the buttons say but great job
Amazing visuals. Really liked the particle effects and animations. The bazooka definitely felt powerful. UI was not scaling correctly to the screen, I couldnt see my healthbar. The aiming mechanic can be improved, it should allow full 360 rotation based on the mouse position rather than based on the direction the fish is pointing, makes it a little annoying. Some checkpoints would be nice, since its annoying to have to play from the beginning. Chaos can be increased, with more types of enemies, maybe enemies with their own guns. Otherwise, great work!
Really good, one of the best games I have played so far. The art is simple yet really effective. I like how you taught me how to use the bazooka without really telling me. The controls could use some work though. It is really difficult to aim behind you, especially since everything is coming toward you. It felt kind of like old Resident Evil, but I assume that wasn't the feel you were going for. Really nice game, though. It was fun and I had a good time.
This game is really fun the audio was kind of harsh, I would of liked a pause menu and checkpoints, also the shooting controls were a little strange but everything else was really cool and very chaotic
also could you play my game because I would really like more feedback
The music was super cool, definitely fit the theme IMO. The gameplay was cool for like a minute or two, but after a while it felt repetitive. The things that caught me by surprise was that the fish didn't die right away, so it was unclear if they needed more shots or not. The fact that you can't aim in the way opposite you are moving was also not clear and made 'kiting' enemies really difficult, especially when it seems some of them match your speed as a player, you have no choice but to turn directions, take some damage and shoot, which didn't feel good. Cool premise!
Charming visuals, catchy music, and fun, chaotic gameplay.
This was very fun ^_^
Pretty unique game, but I have a few sugestions to improve it: Putting life bars at the enemy so you know when they're dead or not, make more visible turrets and also making the soundtrack less repetitive. Other than that is good
Really nice game, great art style and addictive!
Only thing I didn't get to start with was when the turrets started shooting me, they didn't stand out very clearly to me so I wasn't sure why I was losing health :)
OK hear me out: A cod fish...... but BAZOOKA
I really like the flat art style of it! The background flying all over the place when shooting is a nice touch! I did not manage to finish the game (probably that room with all the piranhas in glass tubes takes all of my HP), but it is relatively balanced.
The bazooka can be tricky to aim, due to the fact that you can only aim forward. If you put your mouse behind your cod, the aiming doesn't feel natural to me. Music is good, but a little on the repetitive side.
Apart from those nitpicks, great entry!
Great visuals and good gameplay! I played and rated your game accordingly!
I would love it if you consider playing and rating my game: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-6/rate/1177996
Really fun concept and gameplay, the bazooka felt a little clunky, but overall awesome job :D
