The chaos is caused by combining classic bullet hell gameplay and random arrow key combinations for attacking.

The player attack is incredibly overpowered. Constantly being able to bomb at no cost is just ridiculous. It made the game feel more like a arrkey typing test than a bullet hell. Which is a shame, because the attack system itself is actually quite interesting, forcing the player to dance around an enemy to hit them.
It's well-made, the assets are great. Don't really care for the story / beginning infodump, feel like there should be a better way to work that in. Overall it's a good submission, but the player attack is just too insanely strong and it completely breaks the game.

Heavenly BeyondThis game is visually stunning and it has a great soundtrack. The gameplay is simple yet fun and satisfying. I'm a pretty big fan of the intro too. Overall I think this is a great game!

cool intro, great art style and sound effect!
it was really fun to play with a unique boss fight.
the only problem was when the circle was closing in and i was standing near it, instead of pushing me in the circle ran over me and the game threw an error but overally great game
This is like the most overpowered shot type I've seen in a shmup
Constant screen clears make things pretty easy overall but at least it's really satisfying to use
Graphics are great!
Sound effect is like really fried and bassy whenever you combo which I'm not a personal fan of.
In the end it was pretty fun and I did a full playthrough~

I read the edit on your itch page about the scramble to submit and missing some things, sorry about that, I guess that's sometimes the nature of game jams. But this game has a lot of potential for maybe another release. Even with the really simple gameplay (and not taking damage lol) I couldn't stop playing!

I really enjoyed this game. The game mechanics and SFX are well combined. But in the end, the game felt repetetive :/ Missing some music, that would keep me catched so I wouldn't realize it's repetetive :)
Btw, cool intro :D Pulled me into atmosphere very well :)

The Chaos KnightI really like this game. It's catchy and I like also the controlling (keyboard) and sound effects. However, I think the text at the beginning should be much sooner gone or more important, a player should have the option to skip it by mouse click, bce I had to restart the game and it was annoying to wait for the intro to disappear. Your graphics is good, but there is place for improvement.

Chemical ChaosUnfortunately the game crashed once I beat what I think was the boss, but aside from that, I loved everything about this game, the sprites are amazing and the lighting technique used really brings them to life, and the sound effects are really satisfying and still on point with the general theme, so I gave 5 stars on most of the categories even if I couldn't finish the game. I just didn't really understand the purpose of the "healthbar" on the bottom, since it didn't seem like I could take damage. But again, great work, the game was awesome!
