Cool game! The visuals are very nice and the chaos meter is an interesting concept. Nice job!

Cool beginnings of a game. I think there needs to be a bit more polish, such as when enemies are hit they explode into particles. You also need some kind of juicy sound effect. I'd also add camera shake for when you get hit or when an explosion occurs nearby. Also, adding some post-process effects like bloom, vignette and chromatic aberration, can make your game feel more polished and finished. These are all things that are cheap to implement as well.

Cool game, but there's no polish when you hit an enemy. Also I saw enemies going through walls.

This was an interesting concept. I may have seen it before, but it also works well here. A shooter that rewards you for accuracy is awesome. Besides that, I love the movement of the enemies, keeps you guessing. well done.

Nice Graphics! Video Review: 31:00 Chaos Returnal

Developer (1 edit) (+2)

Wow thank you for making a video on it! It was actually really useful seeing how someone else played the game and see what mechanics were unclear and could have used some more information! Thank you!

Submitted(+1)

Pretty fun core mechanics. It's really rewarding to constantly build up my level although I feel like the movement is a bit janky. Sometimes I wouldn't be able to dash the way I want or use my shield which didn't feel great. Otherwise, very solid game. Great job!

Awesome game, graphics and music are so awesome... Just think that the game juice in fight can be imporved, but in 168hours it totaly make it !

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, 1 week is not much time to build a complex combat system, so we kept it simple. Glad you enjoyed it still!

thanks for the feedback!

I couldn't get full screen to work. I find if you have it in enabled in both itch and unity, it does funky stuff.

Disabling this setting in under "Edit Game" should resolve it.

Developer (1 edit) (+2)

Oh, this is new for me. Thanks for the suggestion! I removed the fullscreen button. I'll try to understand if i can solve this issue

Submitted(+2)

Yup, that solved it for me. Don't know if it effects every browser, but I've always had that issue on Chrome.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, it solved. And, I LOVE YOUR GAME! XD
