As a virus, you try to take over the computer by infecting its inhabitants and causing mayhem throughout the systems.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, All Codes and Assets were created by me, except the background music, which was created beforehand.

Really awesome theming. The presentation is really good, and everything felt very satisfying and polished. There could maybe be more feedback for dealing damage, but everything else is really pleasing.
The gameplay is also pretty fun, but it can take a while to destroy the different components. I like the different mechanics you implemented, but it could take a while to destroy some of them.
Overall, though, this was a good entry, I enjoyed it!
Well it's definitely not what I was expecting, and a lot more action oriented than I was hoping. It's an interesting setting for a game though, with what seems like some good mechanics. There's a very clear goal as well and a nice system for handling vision it seems.
My main problem with the game though is the damage dealt/taken leading to an incredibly slow overall game loop. It requires so much time just sitting shooting at the components and trying to stop workers seeing things.
Though that could have been alleviated if the workers helped out with destroying components. Which is what I originally assumed, instead it seems they are essentially just a distraction for guards? Since new workers spawn anyway, unless maybe it's possible to slowly infect the entire system and then not have to deal with workers.
Obviously that still leaves the issue of the slow progression though.
Overall though, this is an interesting setup for a game, it just has some issues with pacing and balancing I'd say. Besides that I'd just love to see more variety on what the virus can do, causing chaos through infection etc. if it was expanded could be awesome.
Yeah, in hindsight it seems that the idea of making the player weaker would encourage you to gather workers to help you out, but since the infected worker's AI prioritizes attacking other workers rather than destroying components, you are left alone while they go on their own.
giving the player more control over the infected workers could have made the game overall more fast-paced since instead of attacking alone you would attack with an entire army on your side.

My only problem is that the player shoots really slow and my ally does not really help me. But other than that the idea, art, and music are great.
Really really great game! The art is beautiful, I love the mechanic of taking over the workers, and it is very polished! I sometimes found it a bit hard to tell when I was damaging the components (and when I wasn't - I spent a few minutes attacking the center core before I realized what I was doing) and so maybe adding a bit of feedback there would be helpful. But overall a really awesome game!

Great game, extremely polished! One thing you can adjust is camera following speed, to better keep up with player. Good job, nicely done! :)
Nice game! Pretty fun and the shadow effects are cool! Ending was also funny.
At first I wasn't sure if my shots are actually doing anything to the components, so maybe feedback to show that they're taking damage could be good.

Fun game, althought I think you should lower shooting cooldown, cool idea with infecting virus and ability to have your minions!
This game can be fun if you remove shooting limit. Because your game target is shooting and infecting, but you limited this. But it's a good game totally with a nice graphic.
Very cool game, I really liked the idea of you being a virus and infecting a system, also in the graphic aspect I really liked the 1 and 0 popping from the character, the only thing I would suggest is maybe adding more visual clarity for when the character is hit, cause some times I didn't know if i was getting hit and how much hits I could take, but other than that, the game is quite fun :D

Ok I'll start with the things I liked, I like the game idea a lot, the fact that you can make enemies your own allies is something that make for a very fun and chaotic game, the graphics are very simple but looks sooo clean and the audio is so clean too, if you did everything right I would have thought that this was a release ready game ahah but there are some flaws that, to me at least, are total turnoffs.
Now about the flaws, enemies take way too long to kill, you shoot projectiles at a slowfire rate and enemies are super resistant, same thing for the components, this makes the assault approach hard to consider, going stealth is very approcable but the fact that when you get to a component it litteraly takes forever to destroy makes you just stand there pressing the mouse button for like 10 seconds and feels like a chore, also when you make an enemy an ally, the other enemies can recognizes them but allies don't actually follow you so they end up screwing you up if you are trying to make as many allies as possible since red enemies cannot be turned.
I really really like the Idea, that's why I want to give you as much criticism, I like it so much that one day I might get inspired by this and these are my thoughts if I had to improve your game to fit in my likings and undestanding of gamedesign.

I agree that I ended up making most HP bars really high, it was an attempt to make the player consider getting a couple of allies to help him with the destruction, but now i see that since the infected workers decide by themself who to attack they end up giving you away instead of helping...
If i would go for a full release I think the right thing to do will be to give the player more control over the actions of infected workers.

Damn the stealthy aspect of the game is really nice !
A pause menu would be very nice tho..
When I first played it, which was earlier today, I kinda skipped over the fact that it was a stealth game and died really quickly and didn't understand the point of "vanishing". So I replayed it and realized when I vanished the green code wouldn't run off as soon as their light touched me. SO I could then stealthily destroy components and even infect some of them without instantly getting 5 or more guards destroying me and now realizing brain over bronze it became a lot more fun. Very nice. Had some sneaky Escapist vibes.
Also it would be nice if there was a pause menu or an exit game button so exiting the game would be easier.
