Thanks for the feedback :D
I'll definitively check it out hehe c:
AMAZING ART, the best in this jam.(I need ratings help)
Thank you so much!
No worry's I rate every game that comments here c:
Player movement is a little bit too fast and hard to control and there's a lack of polish in some places, but overall this is a solid entry into the jam. The art is also very nice. I honestly thought you just used assets for it until I read the description. Fantastic job on the pixel art!
Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it :D
The game was great, tho player movement didnt feel as precise as it should be for this type fo game
Yeah, player movement was off, I need to do it better next time! Thank you for playing :D
fire rate of player is slow, art is nice and not that innovative sorry.
No problem, you said what you though and i'm glad c:
The game was great. Loved the art as well. Just wish the character didn't feel so floaty. Otherwise great job.
Thank you! c: Character Movement is the most important thing, next time I need to work on it firstly!
Overall the concept is great, loved how polished it was, though the movement didn't really feel like it was precise enough to really dodge everything in like intended, but this is a pretty good game overall.
This game is really good. The art is great, I love that there are different weapons, and the enemies are interesting. My only complaint is that the music loop is a bit short, so you hear the same 5 second loop over and over.
True, after some time the music gets really repetetive, meanwhile the boss battle theme is longer, but the boss dies really fast so you can't hear it too well, I need to make a more distinct main music loop next time! Thanks for the feedbadk :D
Very polished game!
but I felt like my player movement wasn't quite precise enough to dodge the way the game wanted me to and I more brute forced my way through with checkpoints
And you're right! In the end the player movement came out floatier than I expected, thanks for the feedback :D
SUPER polished game with an excellent boss fight at the end! Great job!
Thanks a lot man! c:
One of the most fleshed out games I've seen from the jam. The enemy variety, areas, and boss are all really good. My main complaint is the controls. The shooting and movement is okay but jumping is really imprecise. The section where you have to jump around the small platforms with the machine doing the radius blast felt a bit unfair especially due to that. When you don't have to focus on that, it's pretty fun to be able to run through the game shooting enemies. I think you should just have the machine gun from the start, much more fun to have the game be a run and gun. Less platforming elements unless you make the jump more precise.
Yeah I got a lot of complains from the jump and the movement in general, next time i'll dot it better from the start!
Oh yeah, now that you mention it, it makes sense, i should've concentrated the player in either the Platformer side or the shooting side, and on that part things get chaotic (in a bad way of course haha) Your feedback was really goodn, and maybe someday if I remake the game I will have all that in mind! Thanks a lot :D
Tough game bro! I did not manage to defeat the last boss, but have a look at my review by yourself haha 49:45 Bullet Zone
I checked your video! Thanks a lot for reviewing my game in one of your videos, i'm really happy about it :D The game came out harder then I thought and next time, i will try my best to ballance things out c:
The game is SO FUN to play the art and audio are so nice. in my opinion just the difficulty is a bit too high espesially in the beggining but besides that i loved it. Great job dude
Yeah, i agree with you! In the beggining I totally forgot to place checkpoints which made it really unfair :/ But I'm glad you got through it :D Thanks a lot!
The tutorial in the first level makes u comfortable and is a really good idea, the art is super good as well i loved it, great job dude
Thanks a lot man! :D
Great submission!
I like style, graphics, it's reminds me "Enter the gungeon" game but as platformer.
It's hard to control all enemies and feel like real CHAOS!
And, is it possible to knock down boss in the end, I tried so hard but always died :D
It was indeed inspired on Enter the Gungeon and also on the "Chemical Zone" stage from Sonic The Hedgehog :D
With the pistol, defeating the boss is really hard! But if you manage to get a different gun it helps c: Glad you enjoyed the game! :D
I liked how the tutorial was part of the first level. I played it as an platformer and not as a shooter because it was to difficult to shoot and run from other bullets :D
The game came out harder than I expected and exploitable haha But i'm glad you got your way through the game and enjoyed it :D
lovely pixel art! have a very unique theme.
Great enemy AI behavior.
My first approach was dodging the bullets.
Later, I rush to the next checkpoint with the invincible time lol
I think the difficulty can be lower and some further checkpoints. So that it would be more challenging.
Yeah! I realized you don't have a penalty for just rushing through the game. Next time I need to balance things better :D Thanks for the feedback
amazing pixel art! :D
Thank you!! c:
cool graph, nice game, good job
test my
Thank you! I will check it out :D
I agree with you, Bullet-Hell and "Let there be Chaos" go together really well! I made a bullet-hell too! Really enjoyed this one, although I thought the player was a bit too fast for my taste. I do think allowing the player to stop immediately in the air when they let go of the button was a great idea because it helps the player feel more under my control.
YES! haha I knew I wasn't the only one thinking on a bullet hell! The player movement was a little fast indeed, and i should've made it slower to have more precision, thank you for the feedback, I will definitively check your game! :D
