Very chaotic, With a couple more types of papers and some distractions and it could be even more so!
Thanks for the feedback!
To be blunt, it is not fun but it is a working game at least.
"pls send help"
Couldn't get past week 7! The timer went red and ran faster so I was pretty much toast after that. My only real critics are the music which admittedly becomes too repetitive for my sanity (although I can see that as intentional, but its really really repetitive it was driving me nuts! hahaha) and there were some layering issues.
Had fun, would've prefered for the difficulty to scale faster for a more difficult game, but I really enjoyed the last seconds of the game when I really struggled to keep up with all the paperwork! One comment suggests adding different deadlines for the papers, perhaps you could make some of the documents 'URGENT' so you have to prioritize them.. I think any of those ideas would be a great additions to this!
Congrats on your submission! :)
Thanks for playing , Music will be fixed soon
Great Game. Gives it that Papers please vibe
Could add more textures to the graphics
Thanks for playing
no problem please play my game --> https://mhamzaa019.itch.io/car-chaos
Ok;)
I like the ultra-low-res visual style.
It would have been nice if the papers stacked properly (instead of the checkboxes showing through for example).
The music loop was too short and grating.
I decided to check out Armout's Fire as well. It was fun! I like the innovative use of rotation as the core game mechanic. I think it might be best as a turn-based game. But I liked it, good job!
Thanks for playing both games!!
I like the idea and liked the game but it would be so much better with more polish. Some of the papers went out of screen meaning I couldn't fill it. The bgm was very small and therefore repeating too often and it wasn't really that good. The should be a small indicator sound when the papers appear on the table. And the amount of papers that spawn could be more I think. I felt the start was too easy.
Thanks for playing!! it's a problem with screen resolution
nice game, with a nice idea for introducing chaos
Thanks for playing
The idea of a mess of paperwork as a game is cool. However, I didn't enjoy just mindlessly clicking whatever appears. It would be more interesting if there was some reason to prioritize some targets over others, like if all papers had various deadlines.
Sometimes part of a paper appears through another paper, and looks buggy.
The music is too short and repetitive. It would benefit from having multiple sections that it shifts between.
Thanks for feedback thomas iu
great game! took me some time to get it but had fun tryingit out
The few assets that are in the game are actually pretty good, basic and easy to recognize. The main issue I have is with the music, it's so repetitive and annoying I had to silence the speakers. A part from that, it's a pretty simple game. With a couple more mechanics or more types of papers to sign can be actually be very fun to play. Very cool idea for the theme of the jam, just needed a little more of time to develop.
I agree with that
To be honest, I liked the concept, but it could have been executed better. Then again, that might just be because I am not a fan of clicker games. Please rate my game as I still need many ratings to qualify.
Of course
To be honest, it's bad...
There is not a lot of graphics and music. The single music tune is like 2 seconds looped forever and get's frustrating after 10 loops.
There is no gameplay, you basically need to click in two different kinds of places when they appear on screen.
Nothing ever changes, there is even not a lot of chaos, after like 2 minutes I still was getting like 3 sheets to sign.
The UI is hard to read and it tells me nothing, there is "Days" timer and some other values, I don't understant their signifficance.
Don't get me wrong, it's great that you're trying to make games:) This is just my honest opinion, that this one wasn't a very good game :(
Good luck!
I agree with that
gg
Nice clicker game! It's simple yet fun and I like how it slowly becomes more chaotic the longer you survive.
Thanks for playing Kaynor!!
Solid clicker, although a couple levels in I got a paper that was unreachable so I had a timer on me indefinitely. Tbh though that helped raise the difficulty in a good way.
Thanks for playing!! it's a problem with screen resolution
"1 min of peace, rest is chaos" HAHAHAHHA really accurate too XD but really i think the game is simple, yet really fun and well done overall. definitely inspired by Papers Please, but also has a nice twist and gets REALLY chaotic REALLY soon. very good job with this submission!
please be sure to rate our game back as well <3
100% gonna rate you back!!
Cool idea, like it a lot! Starts out easy but then gets very chaotic as you move on. I think adding some animations to the completed documents (like having them slide into an outbox or something) would really add a lot. But either way, great job!
Thanks for playing!!
Simple but chaotic game, congrats on finishing and submitting! I like these clicker type games and it definately has a great theme, could be a whole game! I think there are a couple areas where it could be improved greatly, I'll try to elaborate as much as I can.
Music: Well, it's just a small loop, this should be some chill and not that loud background music, and you could maybe add a sound to papers, like when you're "tossing" them away after completion. Different sounds for the different papers could do wonders, little changes in the audio can go far.
Graphics: The papers have a great look, I loved them, but I couldn't really figure out what the background is. I assume it's a desk made of wood, but that could be improved if you decide to take this game further. Also, the text which tells you the number of the week moves under the "Week:-" part if it goes past by 9, so any double digit will go into a new row. The checkboxes are always on top of everything, if I got a "To do" paper and 2 other above it, I could still do the checking part. This is true for other papers, like 2 white paper on each other and I could sign the bottom one.
Gameplay: Well, the game is fairly beatable, I got to week 25 with almost 550 seconds left on the timer before I closed it. The "To do" papers could give a little less time, so you can't just skyrocket up and be fine whatever you do. Another idea would be that you substract time whenever the player missclicks and didn't hit a sign mark or a checkbox, this way you can't just click all over the papers, you will have to hit them exactly. Maybe a little bigger hitbox on the sign here part would be better for this, but you can always just try it and find the perfect settings.
I hope this helps you if you decide to take the game further, which I really hope you'll do!
Thanks for the feedback!! I will take this game further
Decent execution, The game progression is a bit slow though, and also i had to mute the imperfect looping background music, but overall it was good experience.
Thanks for playing!!
Nice Idea, but there are some Bugs....I got - Weeks and the one Paper I could not fill....
But else good work!
Thanks for playing!! it's a problem with screen resolution
ahh, ok and what is with the Minus Weeks?
??
Look at the Photo I send, there stands: week: -4
No, it stands 4 and That stands "week: -" , 4 is separate from "week: -" .
ohhh, ok thx
