How does you game fit the theme?
Theme: it is not real
A character in the game confuses stories in her books with reality. For example she encounters a windmill but thinks it's a giant monster.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code within the last 7 days.
I made all models and Textures myself.

The skybox and the music are free assets:

The game was good, and the art was great , but i think you could improve the controls because the bat turned upside down at some time when i was playing. and pls block the cursor in the middle of the screen. But apart from that two things i really liked the game.

The controles feel a bit waky as you trun and clic with the mouse. But the models are awesome !!!

I am not sure if I missed something but after talking to owly I felt like there was nothing to do.

no matter if that was intended or due to time constraints I still had fun.

The models are really well done and the atmosphere in the tree stump was very cozy!

Cute graphics! Gameplay needs some work but you have a nice premise to work with. Keep going!

Very cute!

The art was really nice. Really cute owl!

Really enjoyed the art and story inside the game, I would definitely try to find a way to have the mouse separate from the clicking interaction at some points but good game!

It's like a little interactive cartoon :D

Its a very cute game, but I kept getting flip upside when trying to control the characters.

I <3 Owly

Hello! This looks really cute but unfortunately it seems not to want to load. I think it's a problem on my end. Is there a downloadable version available?

Developer(+1)

Hi! Uploads are blocked because of the Game Jam, I can't add a downloadable version for now :(

Please let me now when you find the reason behind the loading problem. A friend has the same problem

I loved the sandbox element of this game, as well as the arts (both 2D and 3D). The story also fits the theme and the ending was funny!

The only issues I had, aside from the movement that you stated in the game's description, is that there are no SE's (fireflies sounds would make the forest more "alive") nor a flap wing animation for the 3D Owl and Bat!

However, the game's scope is really big, so congratulations for managing to finish it in just a week!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! You're absolutely right, there's much room for improvement

A really good idea and i love how the game looks this is a great submission. Just a heads up that i think some of objects around owlys house have colliders on them when they maybe shouldn't

Developer(+1)

Woops, good catch. Totally forgot about the colliders on the lights around Owly's house. Thanks!

I like the idea. Specially the house is nicely modeled. I don't see much gameplay elements though? Is it possible to do something else besides looking in the house and talking? :)

Developer

Thanks! The idea is that the owl imagines multiple monsters (a giant, a dragon etc) and bat has to overcome those monsters in a minigame and find out that there were no monsters but harmless explanations.

Within the 1 week time limit I only managed to implement the first 'monster' (the windmill).

Submitted

How do I get to the first monster then? I got stuck at the dialog with the Owl

Developer

After the dialogue with Owly, click on "leave". Then you're back in the forest and you fly straight and then to the right. There's the 'monster'
