Very interesting mechanic, that's a really good idea ! One of the most difficult part of the jam, I think, was to find a way to show the player what is real and what is not without relying on the frustrating "trial and error", and you nailed that part perfectly !
Overall the game is great, the controls, feeling and art style are very good and it was really enjoyable ! My only complain would be the lack of checkpoints, I didn't finished the game yet because I died a couple of times and it was frustrating xD. I'll give it another shot later ^^ !

Thanks a lot. I really thought that idea was too basic and already used by a lot of people. That yellow thing/beam were added solely for that exact reason, eliminate trial and error. And about the checkpoints, I much more focused on the level design.
Absolutely love it! This is probably my favourite game I've played in this game jam so far. The level design is top notch, the pixel art style works really well in the game. Love how you even made an enemy that wasn't real as well as some of the platforms and walls. Such a nice little world to explore with so many different pathways that meet back up. The only things that could make it better in my opinion was if there was a way to collect a heart (maybe there was and I just didn't get far enough or add one near the start). The background music could be a lot better in my opinion. Other than that, this game is perfect
Thank you so much. The background music added after remaking the tutorial. Originally the fake enemies die by the beam/ the yellow thing. And also, there's no hearts to collect, health also added later.
Cool mechanics ,and awsesome game. I feel it's much better if we can differentiate the rooms. maybe you can add a minimap later on, so the player can know which room they've visited already.

really cool metroidvania-like game, loved it and it has a cool mechanic different from most of other games where you just guess and die blindly, this one you can guess before dying really nice
