How does you game fit the theme?
The planet that you are on is crashing and going to not exist - not be real. It is not real was the theme.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I copied some assets from previous projects. I copy and pasted some of the code from online though.

Liked it, but a bit hard to control, probably work on the movement a bit. Nice artstyle aswell!

Nice game! Really like the artstyle and the mechanic. The controls were a bit hard to get the hang of, so maybe rework them a bit. The music also got a bit repetative. The sound effects were great though!

Please also rate my game!

I love this. Super fun mechanic. Very clever. I'm ready for a full game of this.

My preference would be that the controls were more analogue so I could adjust my bounces better. I also think linear designed levels with challenges that build on this mechanic would be sublime. As it is right now, this is a great proof of concept, and it has me excited at the possibility of seeing more. Great job!

Thanks! I honestly don't know why I didn't keep the design linear

Pretty fun game with interesting concept and mechanic. Great work!

I like this idea, I just really couldn't get the hang of the controls. The graphics have a nice minimalistic vibe to them. I don't really see the connection to the theme though!

Interesting take on the theme!

Neat idea. I would have liked the pogo mechanic to be tied a little more to player controlled movement directly, but I can see there's a learning curve with the mechanic as is and I kinda like that too. Short loops but funky short loops! And I dig the graphics. I guess the only thing I'd say is maybe differentiate the pogo-able zones from the straight up dead zones a bit more. Otherwise, good job.

Loved the cute artstyle of the game, very creative concept, but didn't really fit the theme... The music got a bit repetitive, but overall decent. The controls were very hard to get used to, and the game was very hard to beat, didn't really know where to go. The camera movement is impressive,  very clean camera movement and nice interactive tutorial, well done. Overall good job!

i loved the game mechanic with the pogo stick, i thought it was a very fun idea that also made for engaging gameplay. the art style also made it easy to know what i couldnt stand on or pogo on while also being visually appealing in a minimalist way. im just a bit confused as to where the theme comes in, like is this all in a dream world? regardless i enjoyed your game, pogo sticks make for fun games!

Really good idea but a bit hard I would say 😂 it's difficult to get use to the controls I think it would have been easier to control the player movement and the pogo orientation separately: with different joysticks or different keys because the same keys you use to control the player change totally once in pogo mode which makes it really hard 😄

The pogo idea seems amazing, but the fact that we can't move with the pogo on is really confusing. I think the game would be much more fluid if we could move while the pogo is on. Other than that, the pogo jumping feels good and bouncy!

Really fun love the Music and Sound you went with I do find the jump button being Z is a bit awkward though it would be nice if it was Z or space

Really cool game! It requires a bit of time to get the hang of the pogo controls but it was really fun.

Really liked the palette choice.

I liked mechanics and the idea but controls were difficult for me.

That was a funny game ! I loved the mechanic of using obstacles to progress in the level, that's very unique ! This concept has to be more explored i guess.

Good work !

The design of the game was cool and so was the idea, though as the other comments said, the movement was not really intuitive. Other than that, good job!!

There's definitely some parts of an interesting concept here and when you figure the controls out a bit it's got a nice bit of gameplay with the different tools given to you.  I've gotta say though the controls just really make it hard to get to that point.

Using WASD/Arrow Keys for the movement and then the arrow keys for the movement of the POGO combined with the fact that jump was Z and the pogo was X, just lead to a lot of weird movments trying to keep track of what I should be hitting throughout.

When I actually did though the pogo definitely had some interesting uses with the fact that you could not move and had to lose it to do anything.  Which lead to a lot of, I guess "yoshi jump" esque situations.  Where you ditch yoshi in a mario game and jump to a ledge.  Could be interesting if that had repercussions in sort of the same way it does in mario.  Where with it Yoshi he takes a hit for you etc..  Maybe something where you can lose the pogo mid air could be an interesting mechanic.

Overall though, the design in play is actually quite interesting, I just wish it had a bit better ability for me to experience that design with slightly better controls.  Space for jump, Q for pogo stuff like that.
