It's a fun take on how environments effect survival. I think an indicator when you can't go (the animals turn) would be helpful. I was able to trap 4 foxes in on there own island and had around 6 bunnies, it was fun!

It was very well made for it being made in a jam! Everything felt smooth and relaxing, having more to the core gameplay loop would be my only criticism. Good Job!

The music and art work really well together! The mechanic is cool, just wish the camera zoomed out a bit more whenever you get the gem, so you could see where enemies are and where the bullets are going, but it's a fun game!

Really fun puzzles to try to figure out, they were a bit hard, but if they weren't I wouldn't really enjoy it. It was fun trying to figure out how things work, like if I can push a box with another box, how high I can jump with a box, etc.

A really cool game, well done!

I enjoyed the sound effects! The cards were all crazy enough to believe they could be fake. It's an interesting idea, but might need something else to do in between rounds, kind of like a breather so the player doesn't tire themselves out. But well done!

Thanks very much for the feedback! We spent a good amount of time on the design for the rock-paper-scissors mechanics. I do like the idea of having a warning before you're spawned, it would slow the game down, but I think that's what it needs. And I do agree with the thoughts on level design, I only had an hour to put together the 3 levels due to technical difficulties, and wanted to show off the enemy types. We will definitely play around with the design some more and see if anything looks promising in a week or so.

But thank you again for the analysis of the game! It's truly appreciated!

A bit confusing at first, but once I understood I was drifting around like a pro lol. I didn't have much to do on the right side of the map though, maybe having the player 'shoot' when the hold a drift long enough, it could be anything though. It's a cool game though!

Visuals were pretty, but there wasn't a whole lot to do, maybe adding points to collect, or to get points on near-misses. Also seeing my score would help me feel like I'm progressing. Good job!

Thanks! Yeah I agree, adding more variety would have been nice. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

It's an interesting concept that could go further if done right. Between new ants and enemies you can add a lot. What you have now though is pretty good, good job!

I loved this game, it had a good fitting soundtrack, pretty visuals, and an interesting building mechanic. My only suggestions would be to make difficulty scale a little slower later on, show which building I have selected, and sometimes my turrets don't shoot when enemies go in the corner areas. But that was the only bug I found. It's a great game!

The sound design was nice, would have liked a bit more feedback so I can know when I hit the zombies, or when I take damage, etc. It's a neat game, keep up the good work!

I loved the mechanic, the execution could have been a little better. Having to balance it seems really cool, but I often sat blocking waiting for my bar to lower. Movement felt fine to me lol, the dodge seemed somewhat unnecessary, if there was an attack I couldn't block with my shield then I would probably use it then. Visuals and soundtrack were both nice. It's a cool game!

I hope it wasn't too hard haha, thanks for playing!

I'm glad it worked with Linux, I wasn't sure. I agree, but the 3 days got to me, thanks for the feedback!

Thanks! I got the leaderboard working last minute, but I'm glad I did!

hahahaha no worries, it's something I do too

It looks cool, but I had trouble downloading it, and I can't open it. I think because it's just an .exe file so my computer can't confirm it's not a virus :/

The soundtrack fit the art style, the art was also pretty. I think having more feedback for small things like the ball hitting a wall, or collecting a coin would make it more satisfying. It's an interesting mechanic, I like it!

I don't recommend getting political, but I personally don't mind. I like the polish, the gameplay is based off reaction time, which can be stressful for the player over long periods of time.  Art and sound design was nice, overall I think it's a cool game!

Escape = Menu

R = Restart

P = Pause

Left Click = Attack

Hit the pillars as they rise while fighting enemies to get the highest score!

I made this alone and appreciate any and all feedback! Thanks for playing!

I like the idea, the difficulty progresses a little too fast, but it was fun to protect the rat. It would also be cool to see what bombs are going to explode next! Good job!

I liked the change in elevation with the different enemies, it adds nice variation. Difficulty needed more adjusting, but overall it was fun!

The game was fun! I loved the visuals, the sound was pretty good too! I also liked how when you healed it slowly regenerated. I think it would be cool to change something with the Oxygen Converter, like maybe have 4 different stations across the map, but only 1 is active at a time. If you manage to change that and add a bit more polish then I think it will be more fun! Good job!

It was fun, the Don't Stop timer looks like it can be a good idea, but for now it's not much of a threat. Also would like more feedback on when the player gets hit and when the enemies are going to shoot. But I loved the visuals, the red popped out! Well done!

Felt great to play, just took a little bit of time to understand how to play, it was fun though!

Yeahh... haha it was unintentional but I'm glad my idea got across! Thanks!

I appreciate it! It was definitely fun to make!

It's a nice pretty game! My only problem is that the audio gets repetitive after a little while (shooting). I think randomizing the pitch of each shot, or choosing between a handful of sounds might help. Be careful though, because it might hurt more than help. I like it though!

Fun, liked the visuals, took me a minute to understand that those were bullets I was picking up

It was a cool game! I like that it's unique! Being able to see player health or have a tutorial is nice, but it was still fun!

(1 edit)

Wow. This feels like a full game! I got a score of 82,000 and really had fun. The only bug I found was once the multiplier hit about 40 or so it was taking up a lot of the screen, whenever it got over a 100 then I could barely see anything. But that being the only bug is impressive. Barrels at first were annoying, but when I figured out how to play around them it got fun! Having multiple explosions go off at once made it really hard to see (it's not a bad thing, just makes me cautious, which in return threatens my multiplier). The feel of the game and the blood the enemies leave behind also are satisfying! This is a great game, I'd love to see it continued!

I loved the visuals and juice, they turned out really nice! I liked having to "train" the enemy, it reminded me of Call of Duty zombies a little bit. I did find 2 bugs (I know it's a jam, but incase you want to continue I'll point them out), being able to spam arrows, and not having to release the arrow for it to kill enemies. The charge time was a bit long, but since it chains damage to enemies I think it's appropriate. Overall it's a fun game, good job!

I like the idea! I think if there was an indicator of where the next attack is coming from that would help. I loved the screenshake though, it felt good to play, audio would be appreciated though.

Thanks! I'm sorry to hear that! The prompt should appear when you touch an enemy's dead body (you might have to stop touching him and retry if it doesn't appear). I appreciate the feedback though!

Thanks! Yeah I plan to add music to it!

Thanks! Yeahh.. the difficulty wasn't supposed to be so hard. I thought players would rush in so I try to have them kite the enemies, between dodging and walking back (and if need be to get them stuck on a wall). I appreciate the feedback!

Thanks! And I probably should have capped how slow the player can go, I didn't think it would be a problem once you got projectiles, maybe I'm wrong. I appreciate the feedback though!

Thanks! Yeah for the selection of available placements, since I'm using Unity's grid system and spawning Game Objects on top of it, I can't easily highlight available spots. I could only think of a solution that might work, but I'll give it a try! I'm also experimenting with ways to make the game more interesting and pose more of a threat to the player. And thanks for telling me about the bug, I made the game turn based last second so that's why the suns feel like they last forever (you can change turn based in the options menu). And nice looking lasagna!
