How does you game fit the theme?
the player is not alone in circumstances that would make him believe he is. the game forces the player to interact with other alien species that may or may not be friendly
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All code was made by us but some assets were made using generators.
The game was pretty good! I got swallowed up by a black hole during my first run, I liked how the bullets curved around it a few times haha. Overall very enjoyable and calm game, however the font choice made it difficult to read. I liked the menu with shooting the asteroid to start, and destroying planets felt nice.
Also, 5 nuggets to get healed is a lot considering the other upgrades for the same price.
The game design was nice and very enjoyable. The enemies could have been a little more difficult. The controls could have been a little better. It was a nice game anyway.
This is a great concept, I love the chill nature of flying through space in this, and all the art is beautiful. I will say that the combat feels a little unsatisfying in that I couldn't find a way to effectively attack enemies while also dodging their fire, even when using the boost. Maybe the enemies could turn slower, giving you a chance to get behind them. Aside from that, a great game. I'd love to see it expanded upon, maybe with a more in-depth trading system, or maybe some aliens that give you missions to complete to get rewards instead of trading.
Sorry, I'm designing my own game at this point. My point is, there's lot's of places you could take this, so I say stick with it.
Thanks for playing and for the kind words and the criticism . yeah we agree with the combat and have afew ideas about that in future. also with the friendly aliens we have lots of ideas and missions are a part of that but thats for after the jam as we needed a solid polished game for the jam. Excellent job with the menu. The game itself is incredible. It seems a lot consistent and professional. I really, really had fun playing it.
Great Art, Great Gameplay, Great Sounds, Overall very fun, I will say its relation to the theme isn't quite as prominent as it could be, I also found myself going through a lot of dead space with nothing to do, I think it would be a nice improvement to make bigger ships give you larger prizes such as +20 HP or Fuel rather than the normal 12, I enjoyed myself and would play again, good job on submitting :)

Cool game ! I liked the general mood and the feel of wandering in space gathering resource to get upgrades.
Also nice art, the space with the starts was really cool and the planets also.
Great game! There's so much polish here, and the ship itself is great to control! I just wish that I would end up buying more things, it felt like I was barely interacting with friendly planets, unless I just happened to pass them, and I had enough money which only happened 1- 3 times a run. Aside from that though, the game was pretty much perfect. Good job!

Great job! Pacing is a little slow in my opinion, but from a technical or visual standpoint, it is pretty impressive!
Main theme in menu screen is so mesmerizing - love it. Cool graphics and solid mechanics, but uneasy to master (dodging while shooting is rather difficult). Could you share which generators did you use for mentioned assets?
Note: texts are very difficult to read, spaces between words are too small.

Agreed we had some ideas like shields and rocket abilities but ultimately the time limit stopped us. and yes the Generator for the planets that we used was from DeepFold they have some great pixel art generators for space.
