The movement is so sensitive! And the effect of movement is so cool! I love the line behind the player

Interesting premise! As others were saying the sens of the controls were a bit high. Other than that, appreciate the main menu with audio options and overall a fun game!
The game looks really cool, and I love how you created the trail that follows the moving character!
The controls make it super hard and frustrating, like the character still glides for 5 cm on my screen after I release the walking key.
Even in full screen mode I cannot see the full screen which creates some confusion because the character was outside the screen at the beginning of the game. It would be nice if the game size would adapt to the screen size.
I reached the ladder, which I couldn't climb, but a snail creature appeared instead.
After that I gave up because I wasn't able to control the character.
It has a lot of potential, but personally I would improve the game feel and controls.
Thanks for the game!
This game looks and sounds great, but the controls are so sensitive and slippery that it's near impossible to finish each level.
The ladders are also tricky to use, as you're unable to stand at the top of them.
With some tweaking, I think this game could be really, really good. Well done!
Holy moly the sensitivty of movement was crancked to the maximum, it was definetly challanging getting used to cotrols, but overall a really solid game! Good Job.
Nice game! The controls were a bit difficult though... I didn't pass the first level :D The sound and art was great!
The visuals were nice, love the 1 bit style. the characters jump was very tight, however i found it difficult to move the character.
Cool game, grapchics, music and sound. I found the platformer controlling was too unforgiving for me. Perhaps because I use a keyboard which is a bit "on/off" compared to a game pad? The guy kept sliding off, and I didn't feel in control. Also, things move very fast. But it's a beautiful game!
Great art and music. As others have said, the movement is a bit fast, but it makes as a fun rage game. Good job!
Very interesting game, I liked the graphics, plus the main menu is very well done. The only "flaw" is that the controls are too sensitive. For the rest, great job!
Great graphics and great music/audio. Controls were too fast for my likings (might be a personal preference). Some animations were a little janky, for example when you land on a moving platform it sometimes plays the wrong animation. Overall, great job.
I love the music and aesthetic of this game. But it is indeed very frustrating to control. I got past the first level after what felt like 50 tries, but I had to give up after as many attempts again on the second level. It's too easy to slip off a platform, bump your head on moving platforms (though sometimes you go through them?), or fall off ladders, and the delayed death response doesn't help either. But if it were slowed down and more friction applied, I think this could be really fun.
I admit I'm pretty bad at using controllers, but I just tried it now with a controller and unfortunately it feels mostly the same to me. The only benefit was being able to finesse the analog stick to move very slowly, but it also has no dead-zone so it was quite twitchy.
In case it's of interest, I recently analysed a bunch of successful platformers based on the data in [1], and the jumps in most games are 1.5-2x slower than yours. I think yours could work very well if the levels and platforms were much larger, but at the current scale it's a bit too much for me.
It is looking very good, and it has good music but the movement is too hard to control.
