How does your game fit the theme?
My game is centered around the concept of new beginnings. Each level is called a beginning, which is a modified version of the first beginning. The player must end and start new beginnings to progress, which contains more changes and alterations. These changes include differences in platforms and abilities, forcing the player to adjust and start over on every beginning due to different platforms and abilities.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
While I created the majority of the game assets and code from scratch, I used some generated text from ChatGPT for in-game prompts. Additionally, the background music was made by SergeQuadrado.

Nice little platform but the music is a bit loud and I like the simplest of the art used and it would much better if you hammered the annimation

thank you! I do tend to set the volume of my speaker low and high but what do you mean by hammering the animation? Not really good at English since its my second language.

I am sadly not really good at platformers, so I did not get that far into the game. But I like the visuals and the idea is fun. For me the game was a bit text heavy and it would have been more fun if it was voice acted. Anyway this a okay little jam game, and it is pretty good for a first jam game. Well done.

i was thinking of making the graphics a simple black and white style, without pixel-art to stand out a little bit. since this is my first gamejam the second gamejam could have more graphics

This is a fun game! Definitely pretty difficult. It was a nice twist on the theme, and that made it unique. I would have loved to see some sound effects or animations, but it makes sense that you weren't able to make any in just a week.

thank you! this is also my first gamejam I made and I haven’t really coded anything much before that, it’s pretty hard trying to finish a game in such a small period but I believe that gamejams can help me get back to making games and prevent myself from immediately stopping development just because It’s hard, too lazy, boring, etc

there is no sfx (sound or effect)? no particle effects, no sound effects, etc. did you mean the controls, collision or hitbox? or did you accidentally comment on the wrong game?

Thanks for rating my game. Your game is quite a cool concept, maybe instead of the texts you could have used keyboard icons to introduce the abilities.

A bit wordy, but a fun idea! I like the abilities you gain through the levels and the applications of them. it would be nice to keep the abilities you gained in the previous levels to make it feel like you're building and improving your character, but either way, good work!

ah, i do tend to put the volume on my speakers high so i might have accidentally made the sounds too loud. i wanted to put as many helpful information in the text and ChatGPT also generated many text i wanted to include in.
