I played this far longer than I initially expected to which is a sign of a good game, the music was awesome - such a bop, I loved the pick your poison of bullet hell idea - brilliant sub!
Really liked the style! Gameplay was challenging, and I thought the end part of the boss fight could use some balancing. Overall fantastic job!

Fun: 🎉 The concept of letting the player increase the difficulty to make the game more fun or keep it "boring" was intriguing. The game didn't feel like it had an end goal, which would benefit the overall experience.
Visual: 🎨 The visuals were minimalistic and could use some improvement.
Audio: 🎶 The audio was basic but fitting for the game's style.
Theme: 📚 It seemed like you were implementing the theme by allowing the player to make the game more challenging, but that being the consequence is a bit lacking similar to saying the consequence if you get hit is losing health.
Other feedback: Adding a clear end goal would enhance the game's overall experience. I enjoyed testing your submission regardless!

What an unforgiving (but fun) game XD
Really nice graphical style, showcasing that you don't need fancy assets to make a game look good :)
The story telling aspect was relly nice as well. I enjoyed the way you present ths changes as if the game itself is talking to the player.
