Really well crafted game! 5/5
The bouncing bullets added a lot of fun without being to hard to dodge and the choices felt nice over all.
The only feedback I can think of is to make the effect of the choices more obvious (e.g. increasing damage migh change the color and or size of the bullet in some way), even though I understand that it might be hard to automate unless you set a maximum powerups of a given type.
Great job!
Definitely ambitious to implement two types of bullet hells in the same game :)
Fun twist at the end, but I would have liked a more clear connection between the questions and the "answers". Since the counters only indicated how many yes/no I provided, it was not clear to which questions I gave each answer.
Overall a fun take on the theme, good job!
Visually very appealing and the "eating" animation was both cute and funny :)
Great music that fit well to the theme.
It would have been nice with some more immediate feedback when you eat enemies and pick up eggs. Since I was so focused on the gameplay it took me a while to realise that there where counters that increased at the top of the screen.
Apart from that, a really enjoyable game. Well done!
Nice start to your game :)
The glowing orb effect on the bullets looked really pretty and went well with the overall aesthetics of the game.
It felt like I didn't take any damage and didn't have to kill anything in order to finish the game (I guess thats due to you running out of time) but it still gave a pretty good feeling of what this might become.
A for effort and good luck with the continued development.
Nice hell scape. Felt like a pre-Doom "retro Doom" if that makes sense :)
But wow, those controlls where wonky and hard XD
Seems like you do not destroy the bullet instances fast enough, because the game starts lagging pretty hard after a while.
If you fix those two issues (lag and controls) I think you have a pretty solid game on your hands :)
Good job
Nice with a reverse bullet hell :)
It felt like a solid base for a game, but not much happened. It felt like I could have survived indefinately as long as I pressed either right or left arrow.
I would also have liked to see some score, "kill count" or some such to keep me interested.
But as I said, a solid start. Keep at it and I'll gladly try it out again in the future.
Pretty colors and great use of cat related themes such as toys, fishes, birds etc.
You clearly have a nack for creating visually interesting games.
Feedback:
- I like the use of the Consequences theme, but I had a hard time understanding the actual implication since it was hard enough on its own XD
- Related to that I found it a bit tricky to realise what what dangerous and what was not since there was so much going on at the same time and things changed color all around. I think I would have enjoyed it more if there was a clearer visual distinction between good and bad things coming at me :)
- The game seemed to lag at times (I assumee because of the gazzilion things flying around)
I loved all the small paticle efects and the art was good even if it was simple. The movment was smoth and I realy enjoyed the dash. The one problem i had was that it felt a bit slow in the beginning but it realy picked up the speed round 4. Also one thing you need to do with this kind of power up system is to stop powerups from being negated by downgrades for example + damage but + enemy health. But its a good game overall, good job.
Fun concept and a solid implementation.
Comments:
- A bit slow for my taste, I would have preferred faster character movement or perhaps a dash mechanic
- it would have been nice with more feedback when you hit an enemy, I'm still not sure if all enemy types could be killed :)
- since the spikes where so thin it was a bit hard to see which direction they where flying at times.
Good job though!
Realy good art! I stoped after I got a score o 109 but i think that i could have goten more if i was more carefull. The bigest problem i had was the things following you blocking bullets because you can hide in a corner colecting coins when they com without ever being in danger. I also think that the heart was to generous even if it looked prety. But there is not much more i can say other than great work!
I really enjoyed the cute sounds my character made and ghe music was really soothing. It was also quite nice that everything was so small on screen, it definitely added to the theme of cells/viruses etc within a body.
It would have been nice with some kind of tutorial though (in the itch description would have been totally fine) because it took me a while to figure out the controlls and I didn't really know what I was expected to do in order to complete the levels.
But overall an enjoyable experience :)
Amazing idea!
The atomsphere was amazing and the gamplay was very unique. I had a bit of a problem with the bullets being a bit unclear and I would have liked an inicator of where they where. And I would love to see more enemies to get that bullet hell feeling. But its overall a great game and I hope you explore this idea more.
