This was the highest I could get after a few tries lol. Also, the highscore value didn't seem to update or change

The presentation as a whole was polished and cool, however I feel like the music could've been somewhat more prominent. That said, all the important sound effects were all clearly audible and distinct ( i.e things like  the sound of enemies dying, sound of the player getting damaged )

I do kinda wish the enemies had a more prominent and distinct colour though since it hampered the readability of the game a bit. They were mostly the same shade of orange as the rift on the right and the same colour as the bullets. This kinda made it hard to tell what was a bullet and what was an enemy sometimes, especially when the screen was covered with bullets.

That said, the player was really distinct and felt good to control.

The ability system was cool and interesting to play around with. I do think it needs some balancing since getting the grenade launcher and the ability to spawn big bullets kinda made some waves a cakewalk lol. Still, it's pretty damn cool in it's current form none the less.

Overall I'd say this was a damn good entry, especially considering that you started late. Great work on this

I really like the feedback. Shooting and killing feels good, but I can't get very far. Just tapping the movement keys sends the character flying across the screen :(

Thank you! but could you please be more specific about the bug? like in what moment or i would apreaciate it a lot if you sent a video showing the bug, i know its have bugs, in the programming side was a disaster idgl, so that is what im working the whole game again (and also with more content, new ideas and polished) again i apreciate the feedback.

I don't think you are allowed to update it during the jam but here is a video of the bug I'm experiencing. I'm not sure if you can tell but each time the character moves I am just barely tapping the w,a,s, or d key.

Thank you a lot! as i imagined the problem are the framerates, i should have multiplied the velocity by delta, this sucks, im sorry for this really. No, im not going to update the game until the jam is over, im making the whole game again. Thanks for taking your time to record the bug.

The game crashed twice during the boss fight, I wonder if it means I defeated it but I am not sure as the first time it seemed to happen quick, yet I got the minigum, the second time I think it happened after there was an animation of the boss exploding or something but the first time I did not notice that.

The game is fun. It looks very good and it's punchy with good feedback and plenty of bullets everywhere at any moment. The theme implementation is cool, I really like some of the drawbacks like enemies shooting big bullets or you can't choose between two perks anymore. The boss fight is satisfying.

You always end up with all the perks, right? I feel like there could be a few extra ones so that you don't. I also feel like during the last few waves the enemies could come faster as these last waves feel a tiny bit long while also a tiny bit easy. These are minor details.
