Nice Game! I liked the feel of the game and the humor that went with it. It felt like a big open world or in this case open school. I liked the feel of the 2D movement and the risk you have to take to explore the school! overall good job!
I think you have a good game mechanic here. Level design is done well as well as story.
It could have used some audio. But overall, a nice entry.

Fun game. Looks like one of those old school browser games on miniclip or something. THe idea is interesting but it doesn't fit the theme the that much(even though there are some elements of the theme). Jumping kind of feels like you are flying. Also I found a bug where you can spam F during dialogue causing it to glitch. This can cause you to get a lot of A tests from that one teacher(Mr. D i think he was called) and effectively have infinite health. The game would have also been a lot better with sounds and music.
That being said the game is good(especially for your first game jam), and the map size was impressive.Also and I understand your time constraint was the main reason for all its flaws. Hope this feedback encourages you to update and improve your game. Congrats on your first jam and I hope to see more from you in the future.

Overall a fun little jam game. Well done.
Starting with a big project is a common mistake in a game jam (and I made it too, even though I knew how it would have ended). Overall the result is nice, you have managed to put a lot of mechanics and created a very large map, good job!
Neat idea! As many already told, the game's mechanics could get some improvement for example invulnerability frames so you don't get teard down by three teachers XD
A bit of music, and some sound effects would also make your game a whole lot more compelling to your players. Overall great work :)
Cool concept. The gameplay can be a bit polished. Wish it had a soundtrack accompanying it! Great effort, cannot wait for the full version. Best wishes! <3

Cool school kid here, I played your game and i got one word for it.. LOL!! Its good that you took the game jam with a stress free attitude, or that's how it looks, trust me i know how stressful it can be. Now, the game doesn't fit the jam theme, i get that you guys tried this get to the bottom of the truth thing, but i don't think it has anything to do with lying and deception, its just a funny detective kinda game. The jump mechanic feels weird, its like your flying. The milk carton throwing thing gives the game a different kind of UMPH and it actually feels really good and smooth. Tbh i really liked this game, even tho it doesn't really fit the jam. Kudos guys, did a very good job in just one week!

Fun game, I hope you'll finish it! The instant death pits felt a bit off though so try tweaking them to make it easier to jump over.
