yes the atmosphere was done right to keep you feeling alone in the forest with something to get you.
did felt bit slow but I believe because it was already short
I was really jealous of not getting the monster to show up the first time but a good reset got it fixed.
We really liked the artwork. Nice atmosphere! Freaking scared the beejesus out of us.
The sounds are simple but effective.

at first i saw the candle sitting on the stump and i was like DAMN that's a big candle! the man in the woods is very scary. nice work!

I love the atmosphere, the explanation of the theme just being "horror" doesn't really make sense, but it follows the theme fairly well regardless. You can use the skyline to find the shapes of the candles without needing to hold out your lighter, and if you stand with your lighter the monster will walk right up to the candle and stand you down. I love the atmosphere, using the footsteps to locate the monster is great, I hope you work on this outside of the jam
Thank you for the feedback! Yeah i know there are some problems with the game, but i coldn't find a tester and didn't really have much time, but I want to continue working on the game outside the jam.
I like the atmosphere, is it possible to light all the candles? Or does the game always end before you can reach the last candle?
Thank you for the feedback! No actually its not possble, I wanted to end the game with the player dying and this is what a I came up with. :)
