The game started very nice, good graphics and feel but the character speed made it a snore.

balancing it would really change the face of the game.

One of the most original games so far!

Good work, friend. Also nice work on sound department.

About suggestions, maybe some kind of cue of where to search next?

Developer

Thanks!

I liked the graphics a bit ,I complain about the mechanics.. So first: The character is too slow for a game like this ,like its TOO Slow ,You didn't add a proper tutorial :/ You can't know if u damaged the enemies or not bc there is no indicators :/ I had to read the description multiple times to know whats happening ,there is no map to show u where u are ,or atleast like a wave point ,Apart from this..  The atmosphere and graphics, it looks amazing, gj :D

I think you did a good job, but the game feels very heavy and slow, and you can get lost easily.

great art but it can be improved with some polishing for the controls

I love the atmosphere and graphics, it looks amazing, though as other commenters have said, the player walks tediously slow. I also felt that fighting enemies was confusing and slow, and I had trouble getting one of the miners to the bonfire as he kept getting stuck

Developer

Did they get stuck under the elevator or somewhere else?

Thanks for playing!

To be honest, I agree with the previous comments. The atmosphere is very well done, and if the goal was to create discomfort, you nailed it. I can see this evolving into an ARG or something deeper behind the game.

However, in my opinion, the character jumps very high but moves very slowly. This might have been a gameplay or narrative choice, but for me, it made the game feel a bit tiring to play.

Congratulations on a great job!

Developer

Yeah, seems the player jump was a bad choice, it's just high enough to dodge arrows, but paired with the slow walk speed feels very disorienting.

Thanks for playing!

The slow movement becomes tedious after some time. Especially when walking up slopes. But the artstyle and lighting are fantastic and make for great and honestly really creepy atmosphere!

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere, thanks for playing!

Basically what RoboKoro said, it really is a good game, everything is charming and I do get chills because of the atmosphere but the character moves very slow. When I jump I feel like I'm not moving forward at all (even though it's a very high jump). From then on, very well done, I liked it, and I appreciate the option to play with Gamepads.

I'm glad you liked the atmosphere! The player's speed was intentional. I only considered jumping to dodge arrows, but I can see how it makes the move speed feel even slower.

he is bad at walking, but AMAZING at jumping. hahaha

Developer

He doesn't skip leg day, but he does lack motivation for extended cardio sessions

big fan of the premise, art style, and vibe of the game. My only real problem is that your very slow and it takes a very long time to get places, but I still enjoyed myself and was thoroughly creeped out the whole time :)

Thanks for playing, glad you liked the atmosphere!
