How does your concept engage in the jam's themes?
We're taking elements from cozy games to create a warm and welcoming vibe, we don't want a gloom and doom vibe, while still saying something about the climate. There have been a bunch of interesting articles written about plant and bacterial growth in zero g conditions, so while our station is simulating gravity and defeating the purpose somewhat there's still a lot of potential for gardening in space. Utilizing sci-fi tech allows for hand waving some of the science, coming up with unique and interesting plants that may or may not be accurate to what exists on earth, potential for including political news articles about the state of things -- the game creates a cozy, inviting, welcoming space to discuss topics of looming doom and the dire need to do something.

Use of Theme / Inspiration
We're utilizing the idea that things are probably going to get worse before they get better, but as our planet is rapidly approaching a breaking point that better will have to come sooner than we expect. Taking the jam into space gets us away from gloom and doom back on Earth, and the activity of restoring plant life is an optimistic take for the end goal of improving the planet.

This is a particularly fascinating idea to me, as we progress in space travel, we will obviously want to experiment with seeing how we will live in space, this idea is just one example of how we might be able to achieve that. its just so cool to think about!

That's an awesome idea! I actually dreamed about something similar. You've made it a reality, and it's fantastic. I can't wait to see the final version!

The concept of an arboretum in space is unique and fun and I really enjoy your mood board, can't wait to see how this turns out :)

Really unique concept of adopting a space ship setting. Its a very interesting way of highlighting productive action while not having to contend too much with the real pessimism that comes with being surrounded by the bad.
