i really like this game, one of my favorite
The aesthetics are very good to begin with. Gameplay looks good and fun. No bugs spotted as of now.
sound effects are so satisfying to listen to. game is also fun as a clicker and seeing the effects of what you do and the effects to you from what is happening is nice integration of peoples emotions.
I played until I won. (After taking down the government).
The game was good, but I honestly had no idea what was going on. I was just clicking the buttons that had positives on them, so any of the narrative essentially got washed out. I think more of the pop ups or forced context will at-least get information about climate change out.
thank you for the feedback! i was worried about the narrative not coming thru amidst all the clicking and i didnt want to spam the forced context so perhaps we'll try to foreground that story more
Hello! I played for about 15 minutes, here's my thoughts:
Positives:
Negatives:
Overall this is my favorite out of all the entries I've played so far. Great work!
I love how every action is related to daily life. I am looking forward to play the official game.
This game is very interesting! I love the narrative-based approach, it shows the consequences of your actions.
I love your game! The narrative is engaging from the beginning to the end, and the sound effects kept me interested throughout the gameplay :) Your game examines climate actions from a very realistic point of view and educates people on the things that they could do to help the environment. Everything looks polished and ready to go!
This is beautiful, the musicality of the game, the unfolding of the narrative as one carries on. How you all bring in elements of collective action, and taking into consideration burnouts as well. But what gets me is the simplicity of the player's action in contrast with the complexity of the subject matter. The fact that clickers are so often tied to a capitalist logic of accumulation and automation, and here you have this work that follows the logic but subverts through content. It truly is beautiful. <3 *forget to add my love of how you folded resources into the narrative of the game
ahh thank you for the kind words! i'm glad the themes came thru
This game was a blast to play and very polished for this iteration. Can't wait to see the official release!
