Is your game a video game or a physical game?
Video Game
Was your game made solo or in a team?
A team, Made by Alastair and Zander
Did you use any third party assets, if yes what assets did you use?
I'm not sure if this is an asset, but I used youtube music to find public domain songs and sound effects that are credited in the game description (Evil Bodega and Deep Space Sector 9)
Did you choose from one (or more) of the optional secondary themes?
We tried for Mysticism
Does your game contain 18+ content (Nudity, Gore, Language)?
Some pixel blood gets shown at the end of the game but its very non graphic with no wound seen and almost a little goofy (its just a red pixel emission node)

I had a lot of fun with this!
Thank you :))
I really enjoyed the experience! The sequence in the dreams was fantastic, and I felt the game wraps up the story in a complete, well-rounded way, delivering its message, saying what it needs to say, and still leaving that taste of “I want more.” Very well done! I do have two observations:
1) The music after hitting the boss feels a bit counterintuitive, as does the music in the chase scene. The track should evoke that sense of urgency, that feeling of “What the hell did I just do?!” but it doesn’t quite get there. I felt the music didn’t align with what I was supposed to feel. Maybe drier sound effects could help highlight some of the environmental details.
2) The tiger contrasts a lot while moving through the forest and “floats” over the sprites. It might be more effective to show only feline eyes, making it clear there’s a predator lurking but without fully revealing it
Thank you for saying what was good along with what could be improved :))
The goal for the music was to try and reprise the intro trying to reinforce that the game had a bit of a theme song, but I can see how that didnt quite hit the mark.
On the tiger tho, we know he was a goofy lad hahaha. His programming is pretty interesting! and by the time I had finished the first run at the sprite there wasnt really time to re do it, so if we made the game again we would probably edit that sequence quite a bit, make the tiger look more menacing than goofy but also work in some actual cut scenes with different camera angles and stuff, and the idea of having the eyes just show up was on our if we get time for it list of cutscene ideas as well, so we doubly agree thats a good idea :D
That fellow sure can fall from great heights. Some obtacles were quite hard to see when running, so I think they should have different contrast compared to the background. Awesome work on the animations and the story!
Thank you very much! and yeah I agree about the obstacles, I've got that written down in my game design notebook in bold now haha (for next time). Thank you for the play and the Feedback :))
The writing and art are really really awesome like it's so freaking cool. The dream sequences are great.
I really like the atmosphere of the text just floating, only thing is that sometimes there's not a lot of time to read it!
And the logs in the forest are kind of hard to see for something that's an obstacle you need to avoid on the run.
I really like the progression of the game, and that its different to general runner games because you're actually running to some unknowable goal!
This game does a really cool mix of story and gameplay and if you work on it more it would be really cool to see what kind of stuff you do to make the manoeuvring change up in future levels!
There are also some scenes that are really pretty and the atmosphere when you're on the boat is really cool!
