I like how the difficulty slowly builds over time so that the games remains challenging.

I love 2d plateformer gameplay ! That's an original way to put action despite the cozy theme.
It was funny ! Weel done :)
Maybe it would be cool to add a bouncing effect when you jump on ennemies !
heyy cool & cute little game! my only thought is that the jumping is a little big too high :D
This game was really fun! I felt like it was relatively well balanced with killing the worms and running back to get water. I think the jumping could be tuned a bit, it was a little jarring how high you jump. But otherwise great work and fun game!
A bit weird that hobbit can be killed by a worm. But maybe it's lore accurate, idk.
I like a lot about this! The game looks great and I had a lot of fun trying to race back and forth between defending the tree from bugs vs fetching water for it. It’s super satisfying when you leap back onto the middle island and land directly on a worm just by accident.
As others mentioned, the jump was a little floaty, and I didn’t love the heart system, I feel like the fail state of the tree dying is enough if you can balance the difficulty right. Besides those small grips, I really loved this! I kept failing at the bees, but I might try again later.
I couldn't beat it! Jungling between watering the tree and killing the pests was too much. However I think the pests may stop coming if the tree ain't watered. If that's the case, it's doable.
I would've appreciated the platformer tricks used nowadays, in which usually you have a few grace milliseconds of jumping while falling. The rest is good! very nice.
Took a minute to get a handle on the movement for me, but it was really fun to protect the tree!
