Game is good and controls are feels challenging and interesting, but the section shown in the screenshot became difficult for me to pass because while you are in the air and falling and throwing the crown up during teleportation, your falling speed is not reset, which is why you don’t even have time to throw the crown to the right. But even that, I like the game.

Thanks for playing! The falling not being reset is on purpose because other sections of the game became trivial when I added it. It is probably the hardest part in the game but with a well timed toss you can do it!

Falling not reserting is important for later puzzles, but there is a solution over that. Here you just have to throw the crown diagonaly. Then falling want matter

Hmm, okay, thanks, I'll try again a little later

Nice game, I like the mechanic, I don't think I ever seen something like that before (I don't play a lot of platformer).

Did you try to switch the controls to the mouse? I think if you click where you want to throw the crown and click again to teleport it would make the game easier (but you may not want that, I don't know)

At first I ignored the big bold text at the top of the page as it looks like a title so I was confused when trying to throw the crown.

Thanks for the feedback! Tbh I'm not sure if my mechanic is original or not the only platformer I've played recently is Celeste. Also  If i had more time I would've liked to have a more detailed tutorial cause I know it's confusing at first. I did think about the mouse but I had already done the controls so I didn't wanna go back but it might have been a good idea.

Quite hard for me (maybe I have skill issue) but I love this challenge. Interesting game GG

Hey thanks for playing! It is supposed to be a little difficult I was wondering if I should tone it down a bit but decided to leave it as it is because it was already quite short.

great work for your first game , i had some issue with Q not being registed few times , please take a look at it sometime

Developer

thanks for the feedback! Where exactly did you experience the q issue? You have to aim the crown for it to be thrown and it also has to be not thrown you can't throw out 2 crowns at once!

Interesting mechanic that makes what would be normal platforming challenges into a more puzzling experience, good work! One thing I think you could experiment with is making the thrown crown affected by physics/gravity and instead break if it were to collide with a wall, and also throw infinitely.  This could turn the game into a more chaotic and fast-paced experience that you could do some funny level designs with lmao. Anyways, nicely done~

Yeah i was pretty bummed out that I didn't have the time to explore the mechanics further because I had some cool platforming ideas in mind. Could maybe come back to this concept someday.

Cool mechanic it turns the platforming into a sort of puzzle. Was pretty enjoyable to play.
