Yes

How did you incorporate the theme "INSIDE OUT"?
You can either be inside your canoe, or thrown out of it to swim (if you break it). You must take garbage from the water inside your canoe first, before it comes out as a powerup. (Also, though a stretch, the original idea actually came from the feeling that paddling left/right was like doing inside/outside strokes.)

Great work! The core movement of the game is really satisfying to do, I think yo ureally nailed it. The gameplay felt hard at first, but was enjoyable to do once I learned how to engage with it. The random generation added a nice amount of replayability. One thing I wished to see was some more clarity in boatless swimming controls - didn't quite figure out how to navigate that.

Thanks! Yes, I noticed while playtesting that it took a few minutes to really grasp how to steer with only left and right, but fortunately the movement seems to feel satisfying once you “get it”.

And you’re right: I had like 6 different boatless swimming controls programmed and only decided on the best one last minute, so I completely forgot to add it to the tutorial ;)

Really nice art and sound. I think the game can be really fun with a group!
Maybe I did something wrong but it seemed kinda hard.
Good Job anyway!

Very fun! Reminds me of a Mario party type minigame!

Good game

Good job on the theme and kudos for taking on a multiplayer game for a jam. Nice work!

I wish I could play it with someone, the game looks really promising and even by playing it just by yourself it's quite interesting. I think the idea of destroying rocks to get powerups is not the best, because you destroy your boat this way. Maybe if you could shoot somthing then it would fix the problem a bit. Overall great game 8/10

Thanks! Yes, the idea of rocks having their powerup inside (and you have to break it out) was merely added last minute because I wanted to relate the game to theme as much as possible. When I update the game, I will surely try many different solutions, and being able to shoot a water gun (for example) is a good one!

This game is truly amazing, I really liked the multiplayer option and how big and detailed the map is. Really enjoyed playing this. Very creative!

Thanks a lot!

Great game, and I love that someone has made a multiplayer game (even better that it's optional!)

Really impressive work making all of the assets from scratch, it looks fantastic and the sound is great too.

Loved it

Thanks!

And yes, I keep stubbornly making local multiplayer games for jams ;) This time, fortunately, it meshed really well with the original idea.
