Did your team create most/all of the graphics yourselves?
No, we only created the character sprites

Music: All of the music is created by one of the team; SFX: We used free-royalty sounds and some of them are modified by us
How did you incorporate the theme "INSIDE OUT"?
The player is a vacuum cleaner that can suck in objects and blow them out again. It can suck in air to suck itself onto the terrain and blow out air to jump or gain movement speed. During the level, the player is inside a dungeon/cave (represented by lava/grey tiles) and outside (represented by green grass tiles).

The mecanics are orginal and is very fun, and I like the puzzles. Great game!
My feedback for Tornado el Patriko: Dust Devil:
What your game does well:
Your game has a good and scalable mechanic that has many applications. It's a great interpretation of the theme 'inside out'.
Your game introduces a feature of your core mechanic one at a time to the player, giving them breathing space to acclimate themselves to each one.
Puzzles were simple, yet challenging. Required players to make use of everything they learned from the game.
What your game doesn't do well:
There are creative uses for the vacuum when it comes to combat, however there was too little combat in the level designs to justify the boss fight at the end. Up to that point the player has little experience with using the vacuum for fighting.
This is further undermined by the randomness in which non-damaging objects appear from enemies. The entire game's level design has predictable solutions because the solutions remain the same each time. The same cannot be said for enemies.
Areas of Opportunity:
Combat wasn't directly introduced to the player in the same way that there was a long segment for teaching each of the vacuum's mechanics. I think a good opportunity here is to add a segment with more enemies, each that require the player to think methodically about using the vacuum to defeat them.
This can be done with enemies that have a predictable pattern. Right now there's no telling where the non-damaging objects will be shot.
I hope this feedback helps!
Thank you very much for the detailed feedback!
the air mechanics are creatively used, I liked how you can make air combos to get more momentum and distance when clearning jumps. The overall theme of the game is amazing!
Tough game for tough guys!
Couldn't go past the vertical tunnel with spikes on the wall after the time you have to put a box on a trigger, probably because I SUCK ;DDD
Like your gameplay mechanics a lot, really fun game
Cool game! I like the sucking and pushing mechanic, however sucking items is pretty bugged. The boss is frustrating because of that and I couldn't beat it. Overall a pretty good game, 7/10
Thank you for playing our game and your feedback.
Can you please specify how the sucking items is bugged?
Too bad you could'nt beat the boss.
Greetings
Sometimes I suck items and I don't have them. I don't know if its because of the ground or what but it seems broken sometimes.
Hey, i guess you tried to suck in the red and green fireballs. If you do that the player takes damage and you`ve got nothing to shot.
There was a hit saying: Sucking in the wrong think may hurts :).
I wasn't sucking fireballs though.
Had a lot of fun playing this one. Physics based games just give it that little extra difficulty. Great Job folks!
Hey great game here! I got stuck on the airburst jump and couldnt figure it out :( but i like the direction this was going in, this is a neat idea and plays smoothly
Thank you for that!
You must first use the burst to push yourself and get more speed, and then do a double jump in which you first jump off and then use the boost.
It is important to always steer in the direction you are jumping.
Maybe you can give it another try.
Thank you for your feedback and for playing our game!
Greetings
This interested game! Good and Fun, nice job!
Very fun game! You squeezed a lot of good levels out a simple mechanic and expanded upon it. Had a great time getting through this one. Great submission!
Very good game mechanics!! the part with the 2 platforms on lava was very difficult 7^7
I had a lot of fun with this game! The platforming is fun and well thought-out, it was super fun to just zip around. I don't know if it makes me a bad person, but the crying children sound effect cracked me up every time.
