The graphics are beautiful, but I couldn't really figure out what I was doing.  A few words of explanation would go a long way.

This game is beautiful visually, but I think a bit of a tutorial could go a long way.  I got past the water part and then couldn't get past the floating platform valley area.

The music was fantastic, mad props for that.  I really liked the addition of a chill mode.  I also really liked the spaceship controls.  I think the core loop is almost there but needs a bit of work, the combat is a bit jank and I'm not sure if it's possible to die.  All in all though I had a really nice time, very cozy game.

Update: the glitch is fixed!  Hope you give us another go

Glad you enjoyed!  Unfortunately that's a known bug, hoping to get it fixed ASAP.

For some reason mouse sensitivity was way milder on Unity so we didn't notice until it was on WebGL.  I actually tried to patch it but the build finished at 2:01 😣

I had a ton of issues building it :/
Did it end up working for you?

This was fantastic, a great take on the theme, super polished, and just really fun and original gameplay.  I had a ton of fun playing this, and I'd love to see it go further. The only feedback I'd give is that right now the action economy is pretty punishing.  I might make the turn action free?  It seems like right now a lot of damage is unavoidable, even when ignoring coins entirely.

I had a lot of fun with the wall climbing but I do think the shooting needs some work

I couldn't get past the "The Earth as we know it lost its air" screen :(

Let me know if I missed something and I'll give it another go!

Fun game!  I liked the twist on the theme, and the puzzle design and introduction of mechanics was really good.  I'd love to see more levels!

It's a fun idea, and I really liked the music.  The Blackthornprod art style was also a really nice touch!  Unfortunately, the controls were not great and the objective was pretty unclear.  Also, the game seems to have disappeared after I played it the first time?

Really really good.  The use of the theme was on point and fun as hell, the bosses were fantastically designed.  I really really liked decking myself out and I appreciated that where I put things mattered.  The writing was also really funny.   Art was also great.

I did feel a little overwhelmed in fights though; the camera angle is a bit too low and bosses are hard to follow, especially with the amount happening on screen and loud sounds when the player shoots.

All in all though it was really incredible especially for the time frame it was built in.  Amazing job!

Absolutely incredible.  I loved the use of theme and visuals, and the boss design was out of this world.  I have no idea how you made this much high-quality content in a month.  I do think the superb boss design is let down a little by the controls, which are good on the gamepad but still not quite as responsive as I want.  All in all though I had a great time and am genuinely super impressed.

Yeah, getting the boss health balanced with the component system was a bit tricky and I'm not sure we got it quite right.  I'm so glad you had fun though and I appreciate the feedback!

Thank you so much for your review, and I'm so glad you liked it!  The damage has been a recurring theme in our reviews and something we're gonna fix going forward.  We're also hoping to get the weapon swings to better reflect the components tacked on for a future build, because we do have plans to continue with development!  Maybe the dummy can get his revenge later on...

Thank you again for playing !

Graphics are great and had me excited, but it needs content

Yeah... I overscoped it and only had about 15 hours this weekend to work, so there's no polish and no quality control haha.  I didn't even see the issues with the UI until it was too late.

Really liked the concept, lots of fun!  However, I got stuck on stage 3---I think the button in the bottom left is inaccessible right now.  If not (I could be missing something) let me know and I'll change the review!

Some instructions would go a long way.  The environment is pretty but I couldn't figure out how to interact (tried: left click, right click, f, e).  I just kinda swam around until the game told me I'd died.  After about 6 deaths I gave up on trying to figure out what was killing me.  Would love to give it another go if you could post the basic controls!

Fun concept and I enjoy the dialogue, but lacking a lot of polish.  A lot of the text got cut off, and I didn't realize I could jump.  Also, softlocked myself when I fell off the level in stage 5.  Good game overall!

Really fun, love the interpretation of the prompt!  The only feedback I have is maybe make it a bit clearer that you can double jump---but that's super minor.
