I liked the "parkour" elements to this game but it took a while to realize I could actually wall run which made the first level a little difficult to get anywhere. Fun little game to play that could easily eat up time with all the retries!
Thanks, yeah I'll have to put something like a sign to make it more clear
Cool game with a nice little cutscene at the start. I found I had to try to not go so fast and slow down a bit, it helps to get through it. Good stuff
Thanks, yeah I did that on purpose so that the player would be more thoughtful on controlling their speed, don't know if it worked for everyone as intended.
Lovely art!!
Thanks
Brilliant! Hard at first but taught me how to time my jumps. Congrats!
Thank you. Nice that you managed to became better at it while playing :)
Cool game, loved the character’s design specially that bear!
Sadly I couldn’t even finish the first level since I kept overshooting the jumps, lol
Thanks, no problem, thank you for playing my game.
Super fun! Pretty impressive for such a short time frame, great work overall!
Thanks for the kind feedback!
Great work!
Great work on this, there were a lot of fun mechanics in it. I loved doing doing flips and wall running my way to victory!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)
Nice game. Requires more precision than I thought, but feels quite satisfaying when you pull off the jumps.
:D
Pretty fun The hardest part for me was the 2nd jump of the first level haha. Figured out if you do the 1st jump early you could make the 2nd jump easier. Pretty neat game though! ⛸
Thank you for playing!
This was lots of fun and frustrating in the best possible way! I like the the way the penguin skates around. It's a cool mechanic and very satisfying to get to the end
Thank you so much. Honestly I was a bit scared of it being to difficult.
the music is really well selected. I usually don't like ice mechanics for movement but in this one you almost nailed it. maybe just a tiny bit less acceleration could be better but not a problem. The only thing I can comment is that the fact you cannot jump on the full mesh of ice is frustrating. Artwise the penguin is cute and the water shader and ice blocks are fitting(I can't say the same for the ships tho) Well done!
Thanks, I understand your frustration with the full mesh ice thingy, I honestly had the same issue with it, I'll try fixing it in the future. Thanks for the great feedback!
It's fun to play and has the right amount of player control whereby it's not too easy. The rounded ice bumps could be more forgiving - and maybe some kind of checkpoint system would prevent repetitiveness, but overall there's an impressive amount going on here given the time frame!
Thanks for the kind review. A checkpoint system is actually a good suggestion, I thought about it briefly during the jam but hadn't come back around to the idea.
i genuinely love the cute comic at the begining !i would have loved to see another for the ending but nonetheless i enjoyed the game,if there is anything i can suggest is working alittle more on the movement
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the comic as I don't usually draw. Unfortunately I didn't have time left to make the ending. What would you want regarding the movement? Just some optimized parameters/Better control or some extra functions?
i love the mechanics that are already there! i just think they need alittle more polish and responsiveness
Thank you! During the development I was also struggling with it and constantly tweaking values. I see you managed to get a great time on level 1 :)
you're welcome!i would love to know what you think of my game to
Very fun use of physhics, i liked the side slide, some input buffer would help to jump in the little platforms
Yeah I can understand. You mean like some sort of input effect when you are in the air? Thanks for checking out my game.
