pros: the vibes.... *chefs kiss* immaculate. beautiful. my skin is cleared and my crops are watered. i love the design of the health bar, and the nods to norse mythology in the enemies (i think i can see a jötun, fenrir, and odin's ravens?)
cons: the design of the player character and the enemies looks inconsistent, and the crows and wolf/fenrir have no indication that they're about to attack.
bugs: if the player hold down space and runs into the frost giants, they won't attack, and the player can just keep rushing them until they die.
i like the art and the noise design, but i couldnt figure out for the life of me how to do the bossfight, there wasnt an opportunity to hit him without him damaging the player
The art of the game is pretty good, it has this charming pixel art feel. Though I feel that the enemies has way more of an advantage then the player like how out of random a wolf or crow will appear out of nowhere dealing damage without the players control, the boss fight where it is very difficult to know where to dodge and when the player get to a place where the player can do damage it is extremely low and when it is done without warning the boss does massive amounts of damage leading the player to die a few times.
this look amazing i like the style and theme and overalll feel its feels alive i would love you did all those effects and stuff the only thing is that there isnt enough healing stuff to like progress and it would be nice to add a health bar to the enemies it would be awsome
pros: the animations were really good and like the animated background and the sound effects
cons: the boss damage feels way too high and my damage feels too low, the enemy that would run at you from the right side of the screen is too hard to dodge
bugs: if i ran all the way to the left, the health bar would disappear
When running to the left side of the screen after you spawn the health bar goes out of frame trying to follow the player, I would class this a class C bug.
I liked the style of the health bar being based in those times, however I wasn't a fan of the end boss because i would hit him but nothing would happen and the boss would kill me instantly.
good: the sound design is incredible, and the sprites and general theme of the game is absolutely stunning. I love the visual and audio side of the game.
bad: not a fan of the lack of health regen, the dog crow things that shoot out from the left are almost impossible to dodge, and even if you reach the boss fight, i couldn't manage to beat it since the damage is too overwhelming. thats if you avoid every ice giant. doesn't take away how good it looks.
bug report:
the only one i could really find is if you move to the left of the level when the game starts, the health bar moves to the left as well. so props to not having any other bugs. this is a class C bug, doesn't happen anywhere but the very start and doesn't effect the game at all.

Good: I really like the parallax background and the sprites for the player and enemies. I also like the animations for the player and enemies.
Bad: It's hard to dodge the black dogs and the boss deals too much damage.
Bug: If you die while holding spacebar (the control for the punch mechanic), the game will loop the punch sound effect. (Class C)
