It is Aesthetically pleasing and the music fits well with it and the enemies getting faster gets the blood pumping; but it is easily exploitable like going near the tent & spamming space or going in the corner forcing them to go slow when turning & spamming space.
there is also the problem that you cannot see through the object and since the enemies come in fast it puts them at an advantage rather then the player.
i like the game visual style its basic and to the point the music is as good as it can be i like it has no ending its like an endless game witch is a cool concept and some machanics like the shadows hideing unkown horrors is good as well my only gripe i with there was more enime type to kill i didnt notice any bugs but you probably got bug feedback
The 'building' at the very start of the level 'above' you has some wall tiles that are slightly further from each other as other wall tiles, on the bottom and right wall sections, which means the shadow cast sometimes has a weird gap in it.
Possible solution: redraw these walls with 'snapping' on, so that they are definitely all aligned the same way
I particularly liked the blood splatter when you defeat enemies - it's a nice subtle touch, but adds a little feeling of 'permanence' to the game. Although I enjoyed the music to begin with, it did end up getting a bit annoying - I think you could have a 'turn music off' button, or maybe add some new music so it doesn't just loop the one piece forever.
Overall this was an enjoyable top down shooter game, except without the shooting, and the controls felt very responsive.
When you die, the score reverts to zero but when you kill an enemy, it goes back to whatever number it was before and the display of the scorebox is not big enough so when it goes into double digits, it cuts off. Class C bug.
I really liked the look of the assets you used and the shadow casting. Something that I'd say you could improve is introducing different enemy types. and also have a second spawn area to prevent players from killing enemies as they spawn.
good: like the music, catchy and not annoying to hear.. also the assets are very visually pleasing.
bad: you can just stand by the tent and spam spacebar and they can't leave
Bug report:
if you die and in the black screen press space bar you can kill the enemies that killed you and the count goes up, this is a class C bug, i had to search for this bug and it doesnt impact the game at all really

i dont know how to tell you this bestie but i cant move the player character <(T^T<)
When you get a double kill it gives you a score over 10
Good: I thought the player art and the attack animation was very good.
bad: the path finding was very delayed as the enemies would always move to the players past position. The player's hit box was a little small.
bug report: when I get a score over ten it would crop off the rest of the score
(Class C).
a really solid, fun and replayable game.
pros: i like the use of music and i like the sprites. i also really like the use of shadows
cons: you could just spawn kill enemies
bugs: when i died my score reset to 0, but then i killed an enemy and my score when back to what it was before i died.

I really like the tiled background and the shadow lights in this game. I also like the sword swiping animation.
A bug I found was when standing in certain corners of the grey structures, the enemies pile up and can't reach you.
