Oh my god this game was so much longer than I expected haha, I got only 7 lil duckies in the end, but man, some of those ducklings were getting on my nerves I must admit haha.
The way the ducklings move and work feels very similar to the way I've seen ducklings behave in real life, with the adult duck running back and forth to try and shepherd them. The limited palette is really nice!
A small touch, but I love changing the scale of the window from the start screen by using the duck, that was a really cool detail. Missed that eighth duckling & some of those puzzles are a bit tricky. Nice work!
A nice idea, but kind of annoying to play if I must be honest. I found it very difficult to play the game even after knowing how to solve the puzzles because of how unresponsive the ducklings were. If the range of their awareness was increased, I feel like it would have been improved greatly. Not bad but could use some tweaks.
Cute idea. The ducklings being difficult to control was probably intentional, but eventually it got really tedious. The art is nice though, the limited color-palette is pretty charming.
Love the pixel art and the retro sound effects. Controlling the little ducks can be a bit frustrating but it made me feel like an exasperated parent which definitely fits the theme. Well done!
Really cool concept! The Lemming-inspired mechanic fits the theme like a glove, and the simple CGA pixel art lends itself perfectly to the theme with the warm earth and yellow ducklings. I did found the game area shown to be a bit small, which makes me need to constantly go back and forth to check on the duckies most left behind! Besides that, really cool!
Really cute game! The pixel art is great. those little duckling are adorable. The game fits the Theme perfectly. i love the way you handled the menu teaching you how to move while selecting the size. i got 7/8 ducklings i have no idea where i lost the 8th i went looking for him. I'm afraid hes lost for ever D:
What a cute little game, I love the artstyle you went with and the sounds also worked nicely. However the indirect controls over the ducklings made me go a little bit crazy. At some point I just decided to leave my ducklings behind and see what is at the end of the game. Being a parent is hard...
Very cute retro game! I really liked the graphics, but the ducklings' AI was really frustrating at times, like when trying to get them up a hill (though i guess it fits the name of the game). Also, what engine was this made in?
Edit: I forgot to say that I reached the end and couldn't find the last duckling for the life of me :/
Thanks for the feedback! I made the game in GameMaker Studio 2. And if you couldn't find the last duckling, don't worry, you experienced about all the content there is in the game!

Everything fits so well together, the art, the sound. It was awesome to interact with the little ducks, im still sad that there is no eighth duck tho.
There is an eighth duck, just hidden (perhaps too well!)
