I started this project in Juli 2019. The goal was to create a platform game that was small in scope and fun to play for casual players on mobile and desktop devices. Let's see what you think ;)

Soo cute and curated!
Super cool graphics and really satisfying sound effects. The jumping felt a little float-y, but eventually I came to enjoy it. The ground-pound in particular feels really great to pull off. This is what Mario Run should've been :P Nice work!
See, now I'm blushing. Thank you Sir ;)
Cool game! Great art!
Thank you so much
Wow you could do so much with just one button. Nice one. ;)
Thank you!
Very good try, simplified operation reinforces the importance of jumping timing, and is more suitable for mobile players : )
Thanks yes it is mainly intended for mobile
Very fun game. Nice pixel art and sound effects too. I found it a little difficult, but still enjoyable. Well done!
Thanks a lot! Will try to improve the difficulty
A cute little one button platformer! It plays really well. Wish it had some music, but otherwise well done!
Thank you so much. Yes music ;) No clue how to create music but I definitely want to try to learn how to do a simple audio loop. It was one purpose to come out of my comfort zone by creating this game and do more than just coding for once. Could manage to do some simple 2 bit graphics and cheated a bit on sounds in the end by using https://github.com/mneubrand/jsfxr to auto generate them. But I really want to play with sounds and music soon. At least I want to have some clue what those creative people do :)
Very fun, and nicely done. I liked the tutorial approach in the beginning, very elegant. The fact you can't directly control your direction adds quite a bit of difficulty, might want to ease into that a little bit. (Right now, level 1 starts with a tricky pit/hill combo.)
Thanks a lot! Actually the whole thing is auto generated on every run. So no fixed levels. You are completely right it should get harder over time. Will try to improve

Thanks for the kind words. May I ask what mobile & browser you use?
I have not heavily profiled the game and there is a lot of retro pixel copying going on :( Actually so far I only tested it on my iPhone 5s.
Thanks I will test the game on some Android devices.
Did have 2 spare hours today to profile the game on Android and found some hotspots. Did improve the easiest ones and got a nice boost on my test device. I hope this makes the game more enjoyable for you. Have some more hotspots in my little self made 8-bit runtime to tackle some other time ;)
It's nice that you can play with the mouse... the game is pretty difficult for me lol! Very cool app! ^ ^
Thanks a lot!
Fun to play for a game with only one button xD
The only thing that I wish was just a bit smaller is the collision box of a few things , but other than that, for a simple game like this, everything is quite enjoyable!
Graphics is very simple but feels great! I like the mechanic. This game really needs music!
"This game really needs music" AGREED! Actually I added the sounds in the last hour(s) before the deadline and did fight the WebAudioAPI to convince those ... browsers to play them (yes Safari Mobile I'm mainly talking to you). Music was simply out of scope for this version at the end :(
The graphic were great and so was the general feel; loved the Mario callbacks! The slam was a cool way of dealing with the player getting turned around when they didn't want to be too!
Thank you! Yes Mario just rocks. Still have an old GameBoy for nostalgia's sake. Slam was really needed to turn the player back to the right. I was just getting too annoyed running in the wrong direction while playing the game ;)
I love that pixel graphics :)
At the beginning that tutorial part was a bit boring as player moves little bit slow but then the gameplay is ok...
Thanks. Yes game is relatively slow. I wanted to give casual players some time to adopt in the tutorial. Maybe it got a bit too long ;) Thanks for the feedback
Fun idea! I liked that the implementation of the slam encourages strategically planning out your double jumps, and that the constant threat of having my direction changed meant I always needed to be aware of enemy placements. Also, cute art and impactful slamming animation. Nice work!
Thanks! Glad you liked it :)
