I've been working on this project on and off for over 4 years and it's the first 'full' game I've started and finished on my own.
I originally had the idea in my final year of uni, but shelved it until I got super excited by it a few months later; from there I worked on it diligently for months until the inevitable 'finishing games is the worst!' set in.
This jam was a really good opportunity to finally finish it, and I'm glad I did as I'm still incredibly proud of it!
Hopefully, this will also be the motivation I need to finally release it on mobile too, which was the original plan.

Very simple and fun idea, I played so many times because I was sure I could do better, I think that's a sign it would be a great mobile game. I think the theme, mood and music all go together really well. Final note: the coin sound is amazing.

Thanks :D! And I can't recall exactly, but I know I was trying to think of casual mobile mechanics and the barrel from Donkey Kong Country sprang to mind.
The difficulty it just right I think. Felt impossible hard at first but I quickly learned to time it right and unlocked my first costume in a few minutes. It's always nice to be able to have something to collect for, like the unlockable costumes. Well done

Cool game. The part that i like most, is the ambience, you really know how to mix main graphics, animated backgrounds with the main theme of the game, even if the designs are not so complex. It's a very interesting work. The only objetive suggestion i can give to you is that it's a very rich game and work, and i like to see rich and original mechanics too. Congratulations.

Haha yeah absolutely, when I started it years ago the aim was to have it on Google Play. Who knows maybe one day it'll still make it there :P
