I loved this little puzzler! The simplicity of it and the sandbox nature allows for a variety of solutions - and that is a great plus. Good use of art and audio, and the theme is on point - great work!
Great little puzzle! This is a great idea with lots of potential. I think you should make it playable on mobile by replacing the need to press number keys by buttons, it would be easy and would bring a lot of value to your game.
Also, some visual indicator of how many blocks you can still place would help, and leaving the blocks after the player dies would be more convenient, it allows to tweak your setup instead of starting over, which can be long. You could add a reset button in case the player really wants to delete all the blocks (ideally with a confirmation message).
I feel like you're on to something, great job!
Fun puzzles, okay controls, good theme. I liked bouncing the character in the build mode.
This pretty cool in terms of gameplay, loved figuring out the levels, I think restarting with the same blocks after dying helps since usually it's one or two wrong blocks and I had to place all of them again after a mistake, but that's just quality of life stuff, as a submission for a game jam this is pretty good.
Really fun game, took me a while to figure it out. Good job!
Very fun! Definitely did not accidentally get stuck in a crater of boxes….and definitely did not fall through two trampolines positioned in what was supposed to be a catch/failsafe area diagonally and have to restart….
i think its a really nice gameplay idea :)
