Your mix is clean as hell, and I like your sounds. The bass and the plucked sounding synths are great.  There's a bit around 2:41 ish where the string-sounding synths comes in after the plucked-sounding one, and it's so satisfying. Your piece fits together smoothly.

Thank you so much :)

In a jam where the rule was to be unruly, this track was a little maybe too consistent and uniform but that was the only flaw I saw.  Everything else was above-board and well produced.

I had a pretty pleasant time listening to the piece.  Nice work

Thank you!

Yeah I agree, I definitely struggled to fit in as many "rule-breaks" as I'd have liked to but I'm glad you liked it :)

Good job !

Very good quality in the mix and sound design, with enough variations and ideas to make it interesting through all the piece

I especially liked the half time change at 2:56, makes the groove so heavy, was a nice surprise :D

Congrats !

Super clean and really enjoyable track to vibe to. The changes throughout keep it changing and evolving which I like a lot!

ambience indicates a cold space to me. especially with that white noise that sounds like moving air in the ambience of the overall mix. i can absolutely see this in a documentary with archeologist hiking up a dormant volcano located at high altitudes where the environment is windy, cold, but still majestic over drone broll. good job

Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed it, I was thinking of something quite watery when I was writing it but I can definitely hear the scene you described in it and think it perhaps fits that even better!

Nice ambience, I had the feeling that it reminded me of something, then I read Japanese Ambience and it was clear. I was into Hiroshi Yoshimura some time ago and this track triggered that memory. The moments of silence are a good addition, and I find interesting the parts in which you switched the low-high octave pattern with the high-low. It's a stronger twist than I would expect. The mix is great

Thank you!

I'm glad the Japanese ambient influence came through, I absolutely love Hiroshi Yoshimura, if you wanna check out a couple related artists who were more of a direct inspiration for this one have a listen to Fumio Miyashita & Shiho Yabuki :)

I'm glad you found the 'rule-breaks' effective, I thought this would be an easy challenge as I often use a lot of notes outside of the key but for some reason this one really wanted to stay in A minor and I could only fit in an occasional Bb with it still sounding good, so I had to go through the list and try out various others, I was also surprised at how a lot of the more subtle changes could be quite dramatic and effective!

I felt very similarly about this challenge before as well as during. I can definitely relate to struggling to derail my composition with certain types of changeups. The "rule breaking" sounded very much like decisions I would be making anyway while experimenting but my end result had me questioning how impactful the changeups I went with really were lol

Glad I'm not the only one haha!
