Nice game! I didn't have the opportunity to play GodenEye but I love FPS! After I discovered you can throw grenades with G, I tried to blow everything up haha. For some reason the sensitity in the web player is too much, I had to change my mouse to 400dpi to play it.
Well done with the animations and models! Was having a lotta fun just messing around!
Love the aiming! Why can't all games aim that good??? I'd be so much better at call of duty lol
The game was really cool and I really liked the art style of the game as well as all of the many animations that you added to the character. I hope a full game comes out of this in the future!
I had fun just throwing grenades and watching them bounce around before exploding. Congrats on having something to submit in 48 hours!
Haha it's hard to beat the simple joy of blowing stuff up. Thanks!
I love the N64 style models! It would be nice to see more game, but I'm glad you used the jam to learn more about modeling! Come back next time with models made ahead of time, or pre-made assets and I bet you could make a solid game!
You're 100% right, even though I learned a lot about 3D modeling in Blender over the 48 hours for the jam, if I was able to find some pre-made assets (or team up with a 3D artist) then I might have been able to get my full vision into the game before the deadline. I'm chalking this up as a learning process and will use it for future jams. Great feedback though, and thanks for checking it out!
pretty fun game! though I can't see how it fits the theme. I really liked the exploding barrels! and it really does remind me of the golden eye 64 game. good job!
Oh I had a whole story laid out for how the Golden(eye) rule fits the theme. But ended up running short on time before I could add it in. Maybe I'll release an updated version with the story at some point in the future. Anyways, glad you enjoyed what was there!
The UI tutorial is not quite readable, at least from my screen. I'd recommend doing some kind of a semi-transparent darker background for the text box. I enjoyed shooting in slow motion B) In my opinion, that's a good mechanic to explore in a full game :)
I think the UI gets squashed if you haven’t expanded to full screen, but that’s a fair point. Glad you enjoyed what I was able to put together!
Great work :) reliving my youth playing golden eye haha.
The mouse sensitivity was a bit high but unity does something weird with that anyway. Once I discovered infinite grenades then I was bomb jumping everywhere, love the blender work too :)
Ha thanks, it brought back some nostalgia for me too. Agreed on the mouse sensitivity, Unity seems to do that with web builds, so I’ll take that into account for future builds. Thanks again for checking out my game (prototype)!
I really like what you have here so far, hope to see a game out of it at some point! :)
Great job in just 2 days time! Animations and mechanics are good!
You got so much done with such a little amount of time. Even though the mechanics weren't perfect, they were pretty amazing for a 2 day game. I would love to see this fleshed out some more!
Thanks for checking it out! I think I did OK for a 1 man team in 48 hours, and learned a lot along the way. Cheers!
Fun prototype! I'm sure you would've been able to make something really cool with enough time!
My thoughts exactly. But I learned a lot (especially with Blender) and that was my main goal with this jam so I'll call it a win.
Ye boi
Hey I recognized that template!:) You made a great use of it, fun little game
Thanks!
Loving it, models and control really well done!
Appreciate it amigo!
Pretty solid FPS mechanics, nice job!
