Adorable! Fantastic art wish you had more time to implement more doggies to pet! and maybe it would have been really nice if you could pet a doggie multiple times within a time window?
Beautiful game Well done!
This was sooo cutee! Like a few others it doesn't have a lot going on and nothing really changes to keep you interested. But for the solid week and a bit we had to do this, its super cute and Im sure if you had more time there could of been some more things added.
While very cute in art style, the game is very slow and features no variety, would of loved to see more dog breeds to spice it up a bit, but the game is slightly boring with no sound effects or music, just a silent dog and silent clicking.
Not to mention it's very slow, can't pet dogs quick enough-
I completely agree on the gameplay! During development we planned to make it more playable by giving each dog a timer that would get shorter the longer the game goes on! Also, something to catch the player out making it more difficult with the shorter timers. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to make these features and ended up going with our core feature of simply petting a dog :)
Loved it! Would love to see more dog breeds in the sequel or future dlc
Thank you!! It's definitely something I want to include in future updates! :)
love dogs
mood :)
The pinnacle of gaming. Nothing comes close. AAA devs please let us pet the dogs
All it needs is more dogs.
During development I messed up part of the coding and it kept instantiating hundreds of dogs at a time, maybe I should have kept that in the final product lol There can never be too many dogs :)

I enjoy stroking dogs. I enjoyed stroking this digital dog. My only suggestion would be to speed up the amount of dogs I can stroke. thank you.
Noted! :)
Responsive and fun gameplay. However you could have sped up the gameplay over time and put different dog breeds and have stuff to catch you out, such as cats if you pet a cat you get a point deducted or something, this would have made gameplay interesting.
Thanks!! Funnily enough this was pretty much the exact concept we were discussing during development! I had begun doing research into how we could program these features and stuff before we realized we wouldn't have time to finish it and stuck to our original concept. It's definitely something I'll be looking into for future updates though! :)
Aside from how cute both the dogs and art style is, gameplay is very simplistic but for you 2's first game jam, I still think you both did a good job (and at least the game actually works).
Thank you!! I hope to expand a bit on gameplay in the future! :)
Loved the dogs, adorable! Other than a few visual glitches this game was perfect, great job.
here's a fun little question, if you had an extra week to work on this game , what would you add/change during this time?
Thank you!! When developing the game, I wanted to make it so that each dog has a timer in which you have to pet them and the longer the game goes on, the shorter the timer! I wanted to add more dogs and maybe something you have to avoid petting to try and catch the player out the faster it is. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to include these features so we stuck to the core part of the gameplay we had already made :) I think in future I would also probably have some background music or at least some sound effects for when you click the dog! :D
The best boy, will recommend to everyone. Maybe future updates could see an extra breed or two :)
That's the plan! :D
I like it, its cute! I think maybe to expand the gameplay you could need to try find out where each dog wants to be petted to gain a point
Thank you!! That's a really cool idea, I'll definitely keep it in mind thanks! :D
