This was pretty cool! I must say though that somehow I missed the controls and at my thirsd attempt I just failed haha Find my video review below:

Thanks for checking it out! unfortunately I found (after submission date) there is a bug where space doesn't work on certain browsers.. I will fix that after the rating period. For now the downloaded version is much less buggy :( your money was falling because of your approval rating :)

Love the music and the general look/vibe. Some sound effects would really have kicked it up a notch. It would have been nice to have the level up menu integrated in the main UI since you need to use it all the time, but that's a pretty minor nitpick.

Overall very fun to play.  I got totally rocked by the Moon.  They were not having my weak military efforts :)

You obviously put a lot of work into this, VERY nice game.

Great graphics, and the audio was perfect for the game.

Nice job :)

I love how you tried to approach the idea of interstellar diplomatic, it sure is fun to play this game. I just don’t fully understand what to do to stock up the weapons, I always either not have enough money or the alien decided to start a war too soon.

And ultimately, I think the game always tends to go to the war state. There does not seem to be a peaceful side of playable content. Although it might be your design decision, I still think if we met the aliens, there is a chance (slightly) that we can be peaceful neighbors.

it was good to see that you spent time on the tutorial and UI a game of this sort really relies on those.

Solid Work!!

Nothing like fronting peace to build up an economy capable of pushing out swarms of missiles and ships in seconds. Would gladly take 10 minutes out of my day to blind-side the lunarians again. 10/10.

The moon did have negative money though. Don't know if this is a bug, but I thought you should know.

Developer

I did know this, if they get below -200 they put all of their points into economy until they are back in the positive. I do think sometimes that leads to too easy of a win. I probably should have made it -100 or something.  I am really glad you liked it!

I love the Graphics and the Musik. I think this game needs more attention! The concept is really Innovativ-5 Stars. Really great Game!

All was going great and suddenly aliens attacked me, what a twist.

I had a little issue finding out how to launch missiles, but then wiped aliens out without an issue. I little bit too easy I guess.

The graphics of earth and moon are really nice.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah each playthough the moon leans towards friendly or hostile. If hostile they will be alot harder to kill, if friendly usually they do not build as many weapons. Seemed like a good idea but the peaceful win is too boring haha.

Your theme and ambition was great. I liked how much thought and depth went into the game. Unfortunately I got stuck trying to figure out how to navigate the game. The UI was really small and though I appreciated the tutorial, I got lost trying to figure out how to advance the game. I could buy rockets and ships and policy, etc, but I wasn't sure where the money was coming from, nor could I figure out how to deploy them.

I really liked the music as well. Maybe I missed something obvious in the gameplay, but I think it's definitely a concept worth expanding. Nice job.

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! I am glad you enjoyed parts of it. Unfortunately, I did a last minute tutorial and did not do a great job of making everything clear.. You can launch weapons if you right click that weapons icon. Yeah I plan in the future to expand this concept to an idle game with different precedurely generated planets, races and more expanded options.  Also Money comes from how many economy points * approval.  Economy was suppose to have a full branching part, but it got cut from time restraints :(

That all makes sense, and sounds like you've got the foundation to get it all worked out. My own game suffered from some balancing/difficulty issues due to time constraints, personally, so I understand that. Best of luck!
